Re: anal pain
The only remedy I can think of is antibacterial cream to prevent infection, seeing a doctor, and not to ever do that again.

Re: anal pain
I mean, without condemning or condoning your choices, I’ve seen all manner of stuff put in an ass….but never an ice cream scoop.
An ice cream scoop?
There was legit nothing more phallic in your home? An ice cream scoop?
On topic, unbearable pain of any sort is time for a visit to the doctor.
But yeah…I mean…it’s been a long time since I’ve been surprised by something being put in an ass. So congrats, I suppose. But maybe don’t do it again.

Re: anal pain
My guess is the OP will hesitate to go to the doctor due to social stigma, so let me ask a couple questions:
1) Do you notice any blood down there, say when having a wash or while using a toilet? This is probably the most critical thing to watch out for. Bleeding that lasts for much longer than a few minutes really needs medical treatment.
2) How many hours ago did you experiment? Is the pain improving over time? Can you take a normal dose of an analgesic (aspirin, ibuprofen, acetaminophen, naproxen)? How do you feel a couple hours after that?
3) Please don't try that again. If you do try something else, which I'm not suggesting is a good idea especially before you've really gotten comfortable with anal, please compare it to your own penis - no sharp edges or really no edges full stop. Also, even hard, most men will still have some give - most inanimate objects are just too rigid and thus there is a fair amount of risk for damage. Even a vibrator - many of which are rigid plastic, some even metal, are smooth enough and lack hard edges - can cause similar pain if used too aggressively.
4) Even when using your fingers, one has to be careful nails are short, preferably any edges are filed down. Also, lube still ends up mattering.
5) Don't ram anything in - relax and accept is the best way, but that's a skill which comes to us over time. Many suggest pushing out or bearing down like when you are using the toilet. And especially in the beginning, you really can't use too much lube. Slow and easy.

Re: anal pain
Have you had a bowel movement since you injured yourself? Have you had any bleeding from your rectum? You say the pain is unbearable? Where is the pain specifically? In your rectum, more towards your abdomen or towards your back? All of those places? (EDIT: Hey Poz, snap!
)
I would suggest going to the doctor. Especially if you have rectal bleeding or the pain your are experiencing is wide spread. I wouldn't wait either.
As embarrassing as it might seem, I would recommend telling them the truth of your injury. But if you absolutely can't, tell them you had experienced particularly bad constipation from something you ate (you have had the same experience eating this particular something before, you don't want them thinking the constipation is a symptom of something else) that you inserted something into you rectum to get things moving again. A finger with a large ring, the handle end of a fork. Something that might have caused similar harm to an icecream scoop.

Re: anal pain
I was thinking of putting up a topic about whether it is worth getting a dildo but this thread has put me off...

too bad - a dildo would be a much better choice than some found object. Have you read any of the other threads dealing with the topic?

To be honest I haven't - I have a bad habit of sticking to the first page of a forum. I will do some searches and see what else is on here

Joe, we're trying to be serious here and you're not helping!

I do wonder though, was it one of those ones with the little handle you press and piece of metal swishes back and forth to dislodge the ice cream? Or one of those all in one piece, solid types? The latter I can understand, the one with the moving mechanical parts...

I very much doubt that Ice cream scoop was used to scoop that ice... nugget. False advertising.
