I never keep them anyway - lose some weight maybe, and wake up without having lost anything at whatever party it is I'll be going too, that'd be nice.

What is the last show you binge-watched?

Oh! What was that like? I saw it but couldn't quite figure out what it was, a cookery show? A comedy? It really threw me.

But on to the question!

Honestly, last year and don't judge, but it was dream phone! A friend of mine bought it for a laugh and my god it really was, we were admittedly quite drunk and it was funnier than perhaps it should have been, when we got my friends very butch, straight boyfriend to play, watching him squeal with delight when "Chad" chose him to be his "girl"

If that doesn't count as a board game, perse, the other one we've played at christmas is called "Escape from Atlantis!" In effect, you have to save your little people as the island sinks, via boats or face evil sea creatures that will gobble them up. Everyone gets a chance to move the sea creatures each turn and watching as the people I love turn into heinous bitches for the sake of the win is always hilarious.

Monopoly is on the banned list, they take that shit too seriously and there are honest to god arguements over the rules, who gets to buy what and frankly, I leave the room if monopoly comes out. :(

Same question!

Ooh that's a good one! I honestly don't play many board games at Christmas but I love a good old game of Monopoly! Even if it takes days, you can't beat it! :D

Do you prefer Christmas or New Year's?

It's "Martha Stewart if she were goth with puppet co-stars cracking jokes", it was entertaining enough to binge.

I prefer New Years because I get to see my bf.

Eggnog or pumpkin spice latte?

Eggnog is not that great so pumpkin spice latte. Really I have to drink all that sugar? Is there any actual coffee in that drink? LoL

Do you like buying gifts for someone else, why or why not?

I enjoy seeing something in a shop and thinking, "that would be perfect for Xavier". (Xavier is my new imaginary house-boy.) I don't like going shopping with the pressure to find gifts.

If you don't like eggnog, your rum ratio is off. Always use dark, spiced rum. Home-made eggnog is best. The crud sold in stores is a poor imitation.

How would you deal with getting a gift you don't want from a close friend?

Although I don't think passing on a gift is a bad thing, but I usually let my impractical/unwanted/too fancy gifts collect dust.

Is your room currently messy?

I can let a room get to the state of "organized chaos" but eventually I have to clean it up. I'm still cleaning up after having to organize many years of financial documents and etc so that addresses its current state.

Same question.

So messy, just like my state of mind. And no matter how much effort I make to clean it and tidy it it always ends up worse than before, just like my state of mind :P

Do you ever feel yourself slipping into loneliness despite having enough people to talk to and good people in your life? Do you ever get the feeling you're inadvertently pushing people away? Do you ever find yourself stuck wallowing in your own misery when all other people do is try to lift you up?

If you do, how do you deal with those feelings?

I don't have enough people in my life to talk to.

Do you ever get the feeling you're inadvertently pushing people away?
I recognize I do just that so the "inadvertently" part doesn't apply. I think this is true for a lot of people.

Do you ever find yourself stuck wallowing in your own misery when all other people do is try to lift you up?
Yes but disagree with "all other people do"

If you do, how do you deal with those feelings?
Daily/Hourly. It's called life and you have but two choices - Live it or well, not (in whatever way you choose not to).

If you feel like the questions above, what do you think the solution is?

Hmmmm...

Maybe some good old denial :P

I guess I'll ask an easier question.

I would hate any job at this point. Take that away, and my job is freaking awesome for me in many ways and freaking the wrong thing for me in others. In overall consideration it's really a good job for me to have. Looking to finish out my career with my current job as I don't plan on continuing to work much longer. I've now had the same job for 20 years but it has changed over time. When it is time to be done with it I won't be one of those people who can't bare to part with their job. I've not been a day with out work since 14 y/o when I started working as a bus boy in restaurant <- dumb luck there! Oh, how may people have customers that say "hey you want to go see the particle accelerator" or "let's go check out the laser complex".

What would you like your next job to be?

I kinda like the idea of being a property developer myself. Haven't a single skill or knowledge to make it happen, but I would like it I think.

No.

1 being you hate it. 10 being you love it. How much do you enjoy Christmas? Or "tbe holidays" to be politically correct?

Its hard to answer because loving and losing kinda sucks. But i imagine having power and losing it would suck too. And theres no way of knowing what will happen. I guess love. Loving something our someone is way more special then having power. Anyone can have power. Love is special and very dependant on the person

What would you say is your best personality trait?
