With humour. I’d call them out on it in a jokey way and lower any tension.

How do you like your eggs in the morning?

Nah but i haven't dressed up for Halloween in years now.
Nam and i have been talking about it. But i won't dress up until my hubby is here with me.

What is your favorite scary movie? Or some of your favorites?

Off the top of my head, probably the original Carrie? I mean really it’s not scary, more sad if anything, but I remember seeing the ending when I was a kid and it stuck with me for ages.

*Random Buzzfeed quiz of the week* Proving again that they have a quiz for everything, I ask: which item of stationery are you? Please post result and description.

You got: A ruler
You are so helpful, kind, and reassuring to others around you. You believe that a helping hand is all people need to feel better about a problem. You tend have strict opinions on certain things and like things your way. Although your strong opinions can sometimes annoy others, your true likability means they never stay angry for long.

Would you say you are an "Road less traveled" person or do you prefer being mainstream?

I’m a bit eclectic I guess. It all depends. Strict conformity seems just as silly to me as does hipster esotericism.

What’s something new you’ve come across—an idea, food, place, thing, technique, etc.—that pleasantly surprised you in the sense that you thought it wasn’t for you but you ended up liking it?

I got a fucking rubber.lol. I know they mean an eraser but still.. A rubber. Smh

You got: A rubber
You are friendly, sweet, and not quick to judge others when they’ve made a mistake. You truly care about the well-being of your friends and family, and your positive attitude shines. You’re quick to help others take their mind off of any problems and would help absolutely anyone if they needed it

To answer pooler.... Jarred pesto. It holds up pretty well and as long as it's used fresh it's good.

Do you believe in ghost?

While I guess there is the possibility that some spirit could live on after the body dies, no not really.

Do you find cemeteries scary or otherwise interesting?

Well I do like cemeteries and I tend to see and hear spirits and demons more so there. They still linger depending on if they’ve moved on or not. Demons linger there too. Demons are like evil spirits who’ve fallen from the path of good.

What religious belief do you follow? Do you follow your own beliefs or do you believe in anything?

I had a dream where there was a burglar which turned out to be the rap artist Drake and for some reason laughed when it turned out to be in some reference to a meme or something I don't know it was just bizarre.

Where was the last place you went on holiday?

Domestic - down to Cornwall with the family. Spent a week in a pretty cottage exploring the
area and cooking.

Abroad - Spanish coastal town of Roses. It was early summer and perfect.

What was the worst part of this week for you?

The constant rain is getting on my nerves at the moment. Half the time I go out prepared for it and end up sweating!

Booking travel to Orlando for work. Orlando has worn thin for me but this is the one time pre year I see my co-workers of now 20 years so I look forward to it for that reason.

You can have only one fixed in the near term, global warming or healthcare for all world wide. Which would you pick?

Climate change has to take priority. What's the point of having universal health care if we have to deal with drought, flooding, stronger hurricanes, heat waves, rising sea levels, mass extinctions, climate refugees, etc? (Sleep well, btw.)

Would you rather have a cock that never quits or a wit that never wanes?

I did voluntary work in a soup kitchen for the homeless once, and I regularly buy 2nd hand books in charity shops, does that count?

Whats your favorite board game?

I really like Settlers of Catan or Articulate although he second is more of a card game I suppose.

Also love D&D although again, not a really a board game.

I actually went to a Tabletop Gaming expo last year where I previewed a property market board game being developed called Magnate which I plan to get involved in their kickstarter. https://magnategame.com/

Idk. I think 100 km/h?

I don't really use highways much. If I have to go to another city, I go by bus or train.

Do you think you'd be able to live a month without consuming any sugar? Would you like to try?
