GFO's Top 5 Pixar Films
GFO's Top 5 Pixar Films
Thought it may be interesting to do a top 5 to figure out which Pixar films are most liked by the GFO users. (Please see this thread for the top Walt Disney Animation Studios films).
17 films have currently been released, so if you could list your top 5 films in order from 1-5 so we can see which film is the most highly thought of and tops the rankings. Each film ranked 1st will be worth 5 points, 2nd is worth 4 points and so on meaning the film ranked 5th is worth 1 point.
Lets see which film comes out top!
As of midday on the 30th October, the current top five are:

1. Finding Nemo (37)
2. Inside Out (33)
3. WALL-E(33)
4. Up (30)
5. Ratatouille (18)
I will keep updating this as we get more responses.

This is a nice little idea. Here is my ranking.
1. Finding Nemo
2. Toy Story 2
3. A Bug's Life
4. WALL-E
5. Inside Out
The top film was a very easy choice for me.

Re: GFO's Top 5 Pixar Films
I can't really rank them as I've not seen most Pixar movies since I was 10, though I will shout out to Toy Story 2 for being one of the few sequels that actually matched the quality of the original.
What I will say though is I recently re-watched the Lion King and I was amazed at how much more I appreciated the movie as an adult compared to when I was a kid. Maybe it's just that most movies being released these days are a lazy high budget mess, but the scripting in that movie was on part with the best comedies. Really makes me want to go back and watch more kids movies, so maybe I will start with Pixar and get back to this thread in about three months.

Only Pixar film I feel strongly about is Finding Nemo. The others I've seen were competent but forgettable.

Re: GFO's Top 5 Pixar Films
I am not one for animated films, but I absolutely despised Inside Out.
If I had to name 5 that I can think of, I would have to say:
1. Ratatouille
2. Up
3. Toy Story
4. Finding Nemo
5. Monsters, Inc.

Re: GFO's Top 5 Pixar Films
I've only seen Monsters, Inc. and The Incredibles. One when I was a kid and the other when I was slightly less of a kid. I can't remember even a slightest thing about them with the exception of the fact that I've seen them. I also possibly remember the fact that I found them boring but I am not sure.
I do still have the VHS tape of Monsters, Inc.

It's a shame Wreck-It Ralph can't be on this list. I love love love that film!

Well then, with both of you praising it, René and I really should watch it! I'd been avoiding it because the trailers looked stupid.

I love Wreck-It Ralph too but it can't be on the list as it's not a Pixar film. You can definitely list it in your Top Disney animated films list when I create it (I can't decide if it should be top 5 or 10 as there have been 55 films so far).
I really recommend seeing the film too! I'm sure you and René wouldn't regret watching it, it's really good!

2. WALL-E

5. Finding Nemo
The Incredibles is my all time favorite childhood movie. From the music to the characters to the setting, I all love it to this day. I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel.
We should do lists of non-pixar disney movies as well!

Wreck-It Ralph doesn't even look that bad. Maybe I'll actually watch it.
To be honest... I never really liked animated movies. They all seem too childish to be honest.
