How do you dress?

Hey guys, I was curious about how you all present yourselves? what are your favorite clothing brands/stores? what hair and skin products do you use?

Why do you keep posting the same exact picture in different threads around the forum? Do you need validation?

Hmmm... I would place my preferences somewhere on the spectrum between shabby chic and casual dress. Since I own my business, I can dress as I please at work — as long as I don't shock my clients. I work in travel/recreation, and my everyday work attire is relaxed. When I go out I like to step it up a notch. I have no brand allegiance: I buy what catches my eye. I'm 55 yrs old and I use very few "products" to enhance my appearance. Confidence and personality are worth far more than a bottle of conditioner or moisturizer. If anything, a shot of whiskey or brandy — depending on the season.

I'm not too fussy about brands or even wearing the most expensive clothes, I'm happy to shop on a budget. However I do like to look presentable and put-together. Well-fitted clothes, no horribly clashing colours (I do wear a lot of colour but co-ordinate well). Smart-casual as well on most non-formal occasions.

I would not be caught dead in public wearing gym clothes unless I'm actually at the gym or exercising outside. Even then I make sure they're up to par, nothing baggy, nothing old and tatty.

I'm not a hair product junkie, I just keep it cut nice and let it do what it does after washing it. I do moisturise my skin though, I get anti-aging ones as a preventative measure before it actually happens.

Don't have a style. I'll wear anything and look right in it. I have expensive clothes but I don't like stuff with logos showing. Hair products? Too lazy for that. Skincare I use a mixture of stuff from peter thomas roth, dior, and chanel.

Haven't worn jacket and tie since my last funeral. You'll usually find me in casual shirt and jeans.

I'm still learning about what makes me look good. I'm at an interesting place financially - at the moment I'm making what I have work, but in several months I'll be coming in to a bit more money and am planning on getting a few new things to wear.

Honestly, growing up very overweight I hated shopping. I still do, somehow it still feels embarrassing, and it's so damn time consuming. I LOVE amazon's wardrobe service, where I can try things at home and only keep what I want to pay for. Makes things much easier.

I'm 6'4" tall, so I look for things that are going to look good and normal on me. I can't really afford to focus too much on brands. I will normally find something I really like, like a pair of pants, and purchase those pants in as many different materials and colors as I can find. Levi's normally has pants I like.

I don't have a style. If I started taking care of my appearance and dressing well, people would wonder what I'm up to. I just wear plain t-shirts with trousers and a rain coat. Nothing's coordinated. I would actually like to look good, though.

Here's an example. I love wearing shorts. I normally wear shorter ones, though. Not that we get much shorts weather, here.

We don't get a lot of shorts weather here in Scotland either, but many Scottish people don't seem to care; they just wear shorts anyway, some even in freezing February. :P

Don't mind him. Think of this place like a High School. Get your emojis ready, and a thick skin, and you'll find out we're just another quarter of humanity. ;)

Terribly, but I have neither the money nor the egotism to fix that.

You look good though.

My wardrobe tends to be boring, I’m usually either wearing khakis and a polo shirt for work or dresses in gym clothes for my downtime/exercises

Basically just lots of shorts, T-shirt, sandals in summer, leather jackets, sweater, flannels and jeans in fall and winter. I might put on dress shirt and khakis for more formal occasions. Other than that, I own some Hawaiian print shirts, heavily distressed jeans, bombers, band merch for when I go to raves. I don't own too many shoes, most of them are sneakers, I've always been the sandal guy.

I usually go out in a potato sack or a wine barrel and suspenders. The cork hole is nifty for peeing and doubles as a glory hole.
