How do you handle locker rooms after sports?

Unread postby Ihaveonequestion » 8 May 2019, 14:30

I'm this drunk straight guy but I have a real question. I want to know how gay/bisexual people go around in sports after the game. You are in the locker room with the sex you attract yourself to and you go around naked. How is this situation handled?

EDIT: Let me emphasize, I mean by logic if I was in a girls locker room and walked around naked with them I'd have a boner. And that would be embarrassing. Same with you. You are in the same locker room as the sex you are attracted to and you walk around naked to take a shower.

Hello drunk straight guy. I have never been naked in a locker room (other than at a swimming pool) and I don't think I've ever seen anyone else naked in one either. Is that unusual?

That's not something we did at the school I went to in the Netherlands. I think there were a few showers, but I never saw them or noticed anyone using them. Maybe our PE classes weren't intense enough to merit it?

I'm pretty sure I glimpsed one of my friends with a boner through his underwear at one point though. :P He saw I noticed and he sort of smiled awkwardly.
I always had a feeling he was gay and repressing it because of his religious beliefs. (This was a Christian school I attended, open only to children from a particular branch of Dutch Protestantism.)

Two of my best childhood friends were gay and the other bisexual. They acted a bit the like but never gave a shit. I'm a bit feminine with how I've grown up but my sexuality is still straight. Sort of wish I was gay though. I understand men more..

I get naked and clean myself in the shower. After I finish bathing I dry myself off and change into clean dry clothes. Then I am off to do whatever else.

Just because people are naked in there doesn’t mean anything is sexualized. They’re not looking to have sex with anyone, they’re looking to clean themselves up and change. :)
People love to follow fools; they don't feel so alone then.

I am confused and more drunk. But I guess as a gay person, be it whatever gender, you get used to being with the gender you attract yourself too. So this locker room thing maybe is easier as a gay person. Well I mean, as a straight person being in the opposite gender locker room is something I never do so.

Hmm, in high school is when i last went in a locker room. No one in gym class asked about my sexuality. They always thought i was mentally retarded (They actually thought i had an intellectual disability.) and left me alone while i dressed myself out in the open in the locker room instead of dressing up in one of the shower/toilet stalls. I didn't get a glimpse on other naked girls. Not that it would matter because honestly it takes more than a naked women to get me turned on. Not because I'm not attracted to women (which i am) it's because i don't always sexualize women while naked.

Girls have it easier in this situation since you don't have a boner.

makes sense because men can get boners (especially teenagers) without being sexually aroused despite what most believe.

Being a nudist, I am comfortable being nude around other people. I don't get a boner when I see a hot guy unless I let it happen. At nudist resorts a boner is rarely seen. If it happens, it is preferred that a person cover it with a towel. When I'm nude in the gym locker room, it just doesn't happen, unless I want it to and only if I know that the other guy is gay as well and there are no other guys around.

Showering at school after physical education (PE) classes used to be more common than it is now. When I was in middle school and high school (way back in the mid 20th century), daily showers were expected after PE. It was one big shower space with 20+ shower heads. All the guys were nude, with nowhere to hide. I think the anxiety of the endless teasing and bullying that would result from an erection was enough to prevent them from happening.

Now I go to a small gym that also has a communal shower. There are times I admire the body of another guy in the showers, but there's a difference between attraction and arousal. It's never been a problem for me.

This thread reminds me of one time when i was in high school.

We did have a community shower but no one ever used it. The locker rooms were basically just for changing into gym clothes and then back into our regular clothes.

We were changing one day and i looked over and one of the other guys named jim was just casually changing. I looked over and that mother fucker was packing.. His dick was so big it was coming out the bottom of his boxers. And he was soft so i couldnt even imagine. Lol.

Probably still one of the biggest penises ive seen in person. And i know i couldnt have been the only one to notice it. Gay or straight i know guys were looking.

That bitch was out and hanging. :D.

I tried finding out whatever happened to him thru facebook but never could find him.

Well that's my story.

My first time experiencing a locker room with communal showers in middle school I was made fun of for being intact. Never took a shower again and always just changed at my locker until PE was no longer a required subject (after 1 year of it in high school).

The gym I pretended to go to. (I'm saying pretended because I found out after going that Im too embarassed to use the equipment when you have all these buff dudes around me). I changed in the individual shower stalls or really quickly next to my locker if no one is in there. Never really had a problem boners or anything. I guess I just wasn't thinking of sex or something.

Personally, I look and might do a double take at something I like... But I'm not blatant about it. Like I see straight guys do at the gym when they see an attractive woman. The only difference is since I'm gay, I get to be in the locker room with the sex that I'm attracted to and see them half naked/naked. I don't like to make anyone uncomfortable though so I don't stare. Also, just because I'm gay doesn't mean I'm attracted to every single man I see. I'm not completely out. (My family and most of my friends don't know I'm gay) Since I go to a gym where I don't know anyone, I don't mind taking my clothes off and walking to the shower naked or in a thong. I've actually had men stare at me, but it's kind of a turn on. I don't do it because I don't know who's straight and who isn't.
