Juice tends to be too high in sugar for sustainable energy. Its probably just best to alter your diet permanently for the better than looking for a quicker way out. Instead of a specific diet, just eat properly. also, your dentist will probably hate you for drinking all that juice.

Didn't even think of that.

Also, Via SciShow, turns out that if you consume fructose (the sugar in fruits), your brain is less likely to register that you took in anything at all - significantly less than if you consumed glucose (the simple sugar in bread). So you will end up taking in way more calories than you otherwise would have.
I dunno how it is compared to sucrose (table sugar - a la cake) or synthetics, though.

I recently tried the HCG diet but I couldn't survive on the 500 calorie/day plan. I've been watching documentaries and weight loss and reading up on it. What I've concluded so far is that diets aren't healthy because your body goes into storage mode and is preparing for famine. However, with juice fasting your body is getting cleansed and detoxed by constantly having natural fruits and vegetables.

I'd not do it if your plan is to lose weight and not gain it right back. Hopefully you've not tried it already!
