Ciao mi chiamo Joe e mi piace imparare lingue. Sono un madrelingua inglese ma ho scelto di presentarmi in italiano. Parlo 5 lingue - inglese, francese, italiano, tedesco e ceco, e spero impararne altre (la prossima potrebbe essere l'ungherese). Oltre a questo, mi piace pattinare, leggere, imparare Python e andare alla palestra.
Ditemi chi siete e ciò che vi piace di imparare lingue.

(Traduzione in inglese per chi non parla italiano)
Hey my name's Joe and I like learning languages. I'm a native English-speaker but I decided to introduce myself in italian. I speak 5 languages - English, French, Italian, German and Czech, and I hope to learn others (the next one may be Hungarian). Other than that, I like roller skating, reading, learning Python and going to the gym.
Tell me who you are and what you like about learning languages.

I can only stumble through more tourism-centric Czech; “Když jsem kufr zaviral, to tělo v něm nebylo” just bits and pieces I’ve found useful on occasion.

I'm learning Russian and both enjoying it and hating myself for inflicting this task upon myself. Some days I get on a roll and feel like I'm doing well, other days it all reverts to incomprehensible gibberish in my mind again and I feel hopeless. Can usually muddle through basics if I'm giving it to specifically to translate but still a long way off being able to competently string anything together off the top of my head.

It's exceeding difficult; I took in high school for a couple years and barely passed my classes.

I love Czech grammar. It makes sense and despite not having continued learning it, I can still understand it okay and make up my own mostly correct sentences. I'd love to go there one day.
