Meeting men who want to sire and raise children via surrogates

Unread postby Cocteau » 16 November 2020, 09:23

Like many gay men I have grown out of the hookup culture and dream of having my own children and family. These days, there are some alternative platforms for people who want to have children (Modamily, etc), however I've never seen anything specifically geared for gay men who want to couple up and raise their own biological children sired via a surrogate mother. Men Having Babies is one such group that helps men with the surrogate aspect.

I suppose the regular dating sites would work, but in general they are geared towards hookups or romance, not parenting and family starting.
Is there a website or group for gay men who are looking for a partner with the same goals?

I honestly have no idea. Here in Brazil it's annoying to get a surrogate because it has to be voluntary, and there can't be any exchange of goods or money. So my best hope is that some friend or (best-case scenario) my sister would be willing to be a surrogate with my boyfriend, or his sister with me, whatever works.

I'm not against adopting though, so what's more likely to happen is that we end up adopting a couple of children rather than going through the financial and emotional hassle of finding a surrogate.

I never thought ever that there would be someone publishing about this topic online.

Actually what led me to this forum is the same exact topic that you just opened here.

I, too, find it funny when my gay friends want to relive the same experiences and life style that they lived when they were in their teens or twenties.

I've nothing against people choices, but my thinking is that there are more to life than just partying day and night.

I may understand that many gay people has been through tough times in their lives but life doesn't stop with these bad experiences. Life keeps rolling!

Anyway, may I ask what led you to ask this question?
