Men's cooling underwear

Unread postby harel » 9 May 2020, 15:25

Dear fellows! Many internet stores are offering cooling boxers for men. Most of them are made from synthetic fabrics, which is, actually, very bad for male health. You might want to check it here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8279095 So, boxers made from polyester, polyamide, or nylon are not a good choice for men. It significantly lowers testosterone levels, among other things.

Some cooling (according to sellers) underwear is made from natural fabrics. Have you ever had boxers from:
- silk,
- lyocell,
- bamboo fibre,
- linen,
- or other cooling fabrics?

Does it really lower testicular temperature compared to usual cotton boxers?

The best option for men to improve hormonal balance is probably to not wear any underwear. However, if you are living with somebody else, it is not possible. If you try to not wear any underwear for several months or years, you will not be able to wear cotton boxers again at all. You will feel the testicular temperature is much too high. Check it out.

P.S. I am not a native speaker of English. Sorry...

Maybe the guy just really likes natural Fibe shorts. I don't have a tag or any printing on mine that I'm wearing right now but I'm pretty sure they're cotton.

I do not agree that it is a spam message. This is a discussion forum for every GBT man, who I am as well. Testicular health is important for the whole male organism, including every GBT man. Actually, I work in a hospital and I am not shy to speak about health.

Brenden, perhaps you are just antisemitic.

Perhaps it’s just his polyester briefs causing a hormone imbalance, resulting in him questioning dubious looking posts.

I don't think it's fair that this is in the wasteland.

This is also unwarranted. We have an expression in Brazil called "mania de perseguição," it's used when someone always feels like they're a target even when they're not. This is such a case.

OK. So why our Englishman Brandon has banned this topic, while he has started a topic on "bulges", which for me is somewhat obscene. Just explain it to me. Then I will believe that it is not discriminative.

Eryx, this is not what I was asking about.

Yes. I do. Is that enough? And now it is your turn to answer my question please. Which of the forum rules was violated by this topic? Thank you in advance for your answer.

In other words, why Brandon has banned this topic, while he has started a topic on "bulges", which is somewhat obscene for me. Just explain it to me. Then I will believe that your attitude is not discriminative.

I would guess it was banned because this forum frequently has new ‘members’ posting spam advert spamminess. Usually the posts fulfil these criteria:

1) The person posting hasn’t introduced themselves to the forum and has a post count <2

2) Post focuses on some very specific item or issue

3) Post includes link to take the reader off forum

4) Link takes you to site about viagra, cams or dogs wearing cotton pants

Unfortunately the post looked a bit spammy.

Yeah, Ian said everything that had to be said. I'd add that I'm in favor of your post being reinstated after you've made yourself a little clearer, but you haven't even introduced yourself so he's not under any obligation to magically know that you're not here to advertise. And if you do understand what anti-semitic means, you wouldn't be calling him that considering we don't know who you are. All we've got is a nickname. Find a different word to be offended with.

If you are a newcomer to this topic, just read the first post. I do not know, if the next 14 posts should be moved to the Wasteland or not, but they are offtopic.

In other words, if you know efficient cooling underwear, just share this information.

Why do we need to cool underwear exactly?

I have no quarrels with good old cotton. I'd bet using a laptop on your actual lap is more dangerous and unhealthy to the little buddies down there than just wearing cotton.

There is a strong evidence that textile fabric of the underwear is also important for male health:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1863418/
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6530653/

If you run a small "biological experiment" and stop wearing cotton underwear for several months (frankly speaking, as I did), then you will not be able to wear cotton boxer underwear again. Then you will feel (realise) that testicles are overheated in them.

And do not worry, if you increase your testosterone levels, you will not be more likely to be straight. There is no correlation. So there is no need to be troubled about it.
