I am a single young gay guy looking for someone to love, I need a workout routine to fallow so i can get into shape. Any suggestions? :heart:

If you can't get to a gym, just doing the basics, nothing out of the ordinary, is already a great start. Push-ups, crunches, sit-ups, that kind of stuff. I used to have an app that was really good at suggesting different routines for each day, with growing -- but bearable difficulty. It's called Just 6 Weeks. I'm not sure if it's still around on the app stores, but there are other very similar ones that are free and effective.

What worked more for me was to actually go to a gym and have a routine made by a professional. That way, I can keep changing it every couple of months and improving different parts of my body. It's been great for my mental health as well.

Warm up training and stretching, before you go about the more sportive things, helps to prevent muscle strain, make sure to have isotope drinks and magnesium handy, if you should do any running or heavy workout.

You could join a budo sport club or learn some wrestling, Kendo fighting ... depends on your likes and interests. Some do like ballet dancing better. :D
Shuffle dance or Frankfort style Techno dance at around 160 to 180 bpm can be challenging, too.
Sports like MTBiking, Skateboarding, Parcours or Surfing will activate the whole body, every type of muscle comes to use. To do Parcours you don't have to get a lot of gear, good shoes and some protection stuff, alike in Skateboarding. Start at low levels, even if it seems uncool. Even if you do most of it at home or around your yard to begin with.
When I had my first Skateboard I would use sticks to support my lame balance. I guess someone to watch this would have gone laugh their ass off. :D
Same in Windsurfing - the start out was a real pain. With time and as your fitness will improve, everything will be more and ever more fun.

Who knows? Some Boarder coach or Budo training partner even might be the one. ;)

Bars and concerts probably, I don't actually know what Americans do with their young adult times to be perfectly honest

I wonder if there was LGBT- groups for the young close to your place. If they had some community like this:

in the US and about. This is EU based, it's there for everyone under 27 years of age, so they can be among their own age ranges and connect.
Is there still Gay Teen Forums? Ask the admins how to get access.

We could do a forum wide age survey. So you can collect all the young guys. ;)

And a few of those that desperately try to come over as young doing breakdance with their walking sticks and wear a youth mask. You'll easily fend them off. :D

Are you looking to gain muscle or lose wieght?
Walking is the easiest exercise you could ever do.
There are plenty of walking groups all over the place. Im sure you could meet some people doing that. I dont know if they will be young guys or not. Lol. But maybe look into joining a walking group. It will help you get into shape and meet some new people.

Well i'm part of a group called Sea Cadets and last PRT(Physical Readiness Test) I failed, so I need to get into shape, to pass.

P.S. also I would'n mind if I got into shape to meet guys too. ;)

Not exactly a routine, but a tip: if going to a gym all the time isn't something you can see yourself working into your routine, just buy some adjustable dumbbells and/or rowing machine or elliptical machine or whatever (depending on your goals) and do it at home.

I could never be bothered to go to a gym all the time and it seems way too expensive for what I'd do there, but as a one-time investment that I can just use at home whenever I have the opportunity, this works for me. It also feels a lot more efficient since I can just do other things while resting, so all time spent in our little home gym is time actually spent exercising. :)
