Some more Donovan. :keke: If you guys haven't been able to tell I'm a huge fan.

This song speaks for itself. Its about a girl who likes to smoke weed.

inspired but the guitarist Bert jansch. He did a pretty good job of copying his style but in his own way.

not sure about the meaning of this one. But it's awfully pretty. :3

This song started the rumors that you could get high from smoking banana peels. Lol. Fucking morons.

Okay so the dealership and I couldn’t come to terms on the used BMW. Eh oh well.

What’s hilarious though is they tried to put me in a 2014 Chevy Impala with 90,000 miles at $8600!! Get the fuck outta here!!

My car is a 2015 Toyota Corolla S with 54,000 miles.

I explained to them I would be back where I’m at with Corolla if I accept the offer on the Chevy. It was NO DEAL! What kinda moron do they think I am!? Hahahahaha! Jesus Christ!

Then I went to tell them the reliability of an Impala can’t touch the legendary reliability of a Toyota. Furthermore the fit and finish of a Toyota is higher quality than a Chevy. That was after the finance manager said “argumentively the Impala is a nicer car” Bwahahahhaahaa!!! I don’t think so

Anyway! So when I thought my chance of reducing my loan amount with a cheap loan had disappeared. Something incredible happened called Carvana!

I submitted my car and though eh why not?
To my surprise they offered $1000 more than the dealer was going to and they will simply buy it without me having to buy a car from them. They pick the car up and that’s it!

So I’ve been selling stuff I don’t need like a mad man to counter the negative equity.
I’m almost there. So I’ll be without a car payment finally!! :)

Now these songs I posted. Well they do have relevance. They both mention Volvo. A brand that I’m very familiar with, well versed and repairing. Mostly the P80 chassis is what I know best. They are super easy to work on. I’ve owned 4 Volvo’s in my lifetime. It’s the car that saved my life twice, the car that always got pulled over by the police for speeding or something stupid.
Volvo is the car that taught me how to do brakes, suspension work, coolant systems, serpentine belt, electrical troubleshooting and so much more.

Volvo was the first car I fell in love with. And well it looks like me and one of those beautiful Swede steeds will be together again. :) not sure which one I’m going after. But it must be before Model year 2000. I’ll take a 2000 only if it’s an S70/V70

Well just sold my Marantz 2250B!! Now I’ve got enough to pay the Toyota off!! :D

I’m kinda sad that Camilla and I will be parting ways soon. :( I love Toyota’s! Maybe not as much as Volvo, Saab, BMW, or Mercedes-Benz. But I love their legendary reliability and quality builds. They are the one and only car I recommend to those who desire something that doesn’t need a lot of maintenance.

I’ll be buying another Toyota later outright. But buying a Volvo outright comes first. :) can’t wait to be behind the wheel of a Volvo again!! Fun fact Volvo means I Roll in Latin. ;) also did you know Volvo was originally a ball bearing company? :)

Lastly here are the Volvo’s I’ve owned:

1989 740GL sedan
2000 S-70 SE sedan
2007 XC-70
1994 850 Turbo

Other cars I’ve known, owned, loved and only hated one:

1985 Chevrolet Impala (would love to find one of these again. This was my first car at 18)
2002 Ford Focus ZTS
2007 Chevrolet Cobalt LS (The only car I ever owned that I despised. I hated it so much I back traded for the next car. Funny I ended up with more safety features, more horsepower and cheaper insurance on the older car)
2004 Saab 9-5 ARC 2.3t (A fun car and was my first turbo. Loved that car!)
1996 Acura 3.5RL (the model that replaced the Legend)
2001 Toyota Corolla LE (loved that it had a timing chain. But hated that this generation of Corollas burned oil :madred: )
2015 Toyota Corolla S (soon to part our ways :( )
Next car: Volvo 850, S70, S90, 960, 940 or 740. Kinda have my heart set on another 850 or S70 :)

Okay I promise I’m done yammering on about cars. Can’t help it but I do love cars. Don’t talk about em here often on the forum.
