There's that joke about a tattoo one guy had on his dick, but it works in German only. He was old and shriveled and people would read "Rumbalotte".
In his younger life things still were, say, outstanding, and it would be "Ruhm und Ehre der baltischen Flotte" ( Glory and honor to the baltic fleet )
Makes it funny because "Rumbalotte" could be about translated into something like "Dancing Mathilda" even though it's not a common hooker's name, probably just connected to that old song.

If you do get a tattoo done, don't use a figure of speech or saying!

I dig the jackalope, now. Those are the days that make youth legend.
Shooting TV's :D shitty shows already, back then, eh?

You're impressing me. Not in a good way. The last 8 words were not needed. I'll read the article out of interest on the subject but the post still bites.

A lot of us will be lucky if we look as good as Mxguy when we're his age (not that he's that old but so many ppl let themselves go).

Imagine you're such a birkenstock of a person that you write an entire paper about the possible complications of a popular centuries old body modification.

Back in my day we used to call anilingus rimming. Now all these kids are runnin' around eatin'-ass this and booty-eatin'-like-it's-groceries that. No sense of appreciation for the human sphincter. Generation Z I tell ya! *smokes a vape like a pipe*

Thank you for the kind words. I feel my age; well more like I deny feeling my age. I do hate my pot belly and spare tire. But I keep at trying to undo what I did there. Looks, ugh, thankfully a ball cap covers my bald spot nicely. Age is certainly not kind to looks. That part I will admit I despise.

I let myself go twice now. Be really nice if I don't ever do it again.

Don't be discouraged. I do think that with age getting a tattoo, requires more consideration on where you get it, skins elasticity, future strecthing, all those things that happen to everybody, regardless. Are just more of a concern when one is not in their 20's anymore.

When your 20, you don't care that the tattoo you got on your chest is going to spread and possibly be somethat distorted when you hit 70 and 250 pounds. You'll have had 50 years of that tattoo looking, for the most part, awesome.

When your nearer that time when our bodies rebel against our wishes and instead submit themselves to the evil fucker that is time, getting a tattoo, is still perfectly acceptable and attractive, one just needs to think more carefully.

I would say, that areas of the body, that don't tend to change shape as we age are good locations, forearms, or shoulders are good, calfs too, hands, kneck. Maybe the back.

I have a tattoo I got when I was 17, I think. It was with a friend and we both got the same tat. I don't love it the way I used to but it means more to me now, than it did, even then.

I've wanted to get another tattoo, myself, but I haven't got a design, I can say would stand that test of time well enough, that I would risk permanently inking my body again.

Yeah it's sad there's an emphasis about ageism and lookism throughout the whole gay world, and people will believe, someone's letting themselves go, even if they're trying g'damn hard to get in shape, for example.
I understand the despise part, I was, what they call a Chubby around Age 13 to 24, and in the meantime I'm close to the somewhat lumpy, beefy bear type. The Sports work pretty fine on the re-shaping and getting rid of those spare tires. Meet ye at size M or L. :thumbsupwink:

I think there was some discussion going around on ink and susceptibility to some types of cancer before. One might consider this, but then, there are millions of things that may influence cancer risks.

Of course, there are many possible reasons why people get under the needle and get inked. Some get tattooed because they appreciate it as a form of art. Some get tattooed as a show of love or infatuation. Some get tattooed to openly show rebellion. And some simply get tattooed because they think it’s really cool. Before getting a tattoo, consider why you want one. You don’t necessarily need to come up with an overly sentimental or profound reason to get a tattoo. Just make sure that whatever reason you come up with, you will be able to stand by it. And, definitely, don’t allow other people to make the decision for you. You should keep in mind, that fact, that you should take care about the tattoo, namely I have bought a lot of new clothes from https://drystoneshop.com/blogs/article/ ... o-meanings, because they are suited to my tattoo and new image, so think twice before making the tattoo.
