Apparently there's a clothes store chain in the Netherlands called "Sissy-Boy". Whyyyy?

I never heard of it while living there, but it seems to have been founded some 35 years ago and to recently have entered bankruptcy proceedings.

Do you think they sell panties designed specifically for bussies?

They're called jockstraps.

Personally, I find it incredibly unappealing when I see a picture of a guy in lace panties, usually with a caption like "use me daddy" or "sissy craving cock" or something similarly revolting.

I mean...you’re not the demographic they’re addressing. I can’t see you playing the role of Daddy with any great conviction. It’s not a role I’d say was in your artistic wheelhouse.

It's because you never shopped there that they are bankrupt. :D

There’s this couple who does amateur porn vids on PornHub, Zilv and Rourke (one’s a hunky jock, the other a twink who looks just like Hunter), and they totally play on this fetish. So hot.

I looked it up. You know, besides being aesthetically repugnant, isn't it problematic playing into these very heterosexual power dynamics? The fetish is grounded on the notion that the roles of penetrator and penetrated are equivalent in every respect to the non-sexual aspects of intimate relationships, and in fact celebrates those circumstances in intimate relationships, presumably because they lend the act of lovemaking a greater potency by giving it something to consummate. The relationship between sex and power has always been straight people's knot to untangle, but some gays actually volunteer to take it on. What kind of nonsense compels someone to adopt the cultural and psychological signifiers of a "sissy" just to make the journey down an especially contrived avenue of sexual gratification? How pitiful is the guy who buys what they're selling because it reinforces some ersatz notion of his masculinity? Could it possibly be worth the indignity?

I really wonder if there's anyone at that company who has an inkling that the name is...less than ideal.

I’ve seen their videos. And some really are hot while the others (where he is dressed in girls clothes) are really a huge turn off.
I don’t mind it if they do it for them, but I certainly won’t jack off to it.

I personally always enjoy videos where guys flip their roles occasionally. That’s something that straight couples can’t really do. Or a twink pounding a large looking jock.

You know, I’ve only ever seen you rant about effeminacy but not masculinity in gay men. It’s fine if a gay man wears “jock” apparel to role play and reinforce “some ersatz notion of masculinity” but laced pink panties are “problematic”. Hmmmm. Hmmmmmmmm.

Funny enough you reminded me of LP and how he used to think bisexuality was some enlightened state of being. Similarly you seem to extol the idea of being this marginally masculine marginally feminine hybrid queer. There’s no knot to untangle here. Like it or not sex has an intrinsic character of power and vulnerability. That some people role play off that or that some don’t conform to it is beside the point. Michael wearing a dog collar while on all fours awaiting a spanking is actually the embodiment of the human condition. You’re the weirdo.

Wait, slapping of the ass doesn't signify appreciation of a nice one but rather is BDSM? Oh my, how far have I strayed...

Makes me think when recently the one bar tender at Hi Tops replied to a guy beside me "I'm just too vanilla". I didn't hear any of the other conversation but I just thought exactly how is a gay guy just vanilla. Repressed, yes; vanilla I have yet to meet thankfully.

Didn't I just say it was pitiful? Don't accuse me of being a sissyphobe.

Michael has the presence of mind not to let his sexual posture dictate the dynamics of his relationships, or worse, elevate it to the status of subculture. I think it's easy enough to tell the difference between kink and depravity.

Not sure how much I should disclose on here but I’ll just say that I talk to him more than you and I can assure you that you’re wrong.

Omg Sissy-Boy!!!

I saw these stores years ago when we went on holiday to The Netherlands. I don't know how you'd never seen one, there's quite a lot of them from what I remember haha. I know there's one in Amsterdam, I remember seeing one there, but we saw them in various places.

Never went in one, but I just found the name really funny when I was a kid for the obvious reasons. My Dad was amused by it as well.

We've had a small HEMA open in Birmingham New Street train station, I went in just for the nostalgia of when we used to go to the Netherlands. I love their snacks.

Ughh yes.

Sexy lingerie just doesn't have the same affect with men that it does on women.

I know in the age of a billion genders it's unpopular to say, but I think mens' clothes are mens' clothes and womens' are womens' for a reason. They're not just about "policing or segregating gender" they are designed to look appealing and flattering on the gender they are meant for.

Haha, well, "going" to "places" isn't really something I did a lot of. :D

I've been to Amsterdam twice. The first time was the same time as Brenden's first time (my parents took us to see museums and stuff); the second time was an unavoidable visit to the US Embassy.

You are so fickle, Yeauxleaux. You seemed to like this look last night...
