Top And Bottom gay the difference?

Unread postby Gay-paul » 7 January 2019, 14:22

I heard about top and bottom roles, that the Top is the one who is more bigger much stronger and so on, that the bigger and stronger is more dominant. I wonder how often the reverse is true that the stronger and bigger is submissive while the wimpy one is the king :D

That someone is short in stature but very dominating in bed even trough in social life maybe opposite :D

Haven't we done this one already?

Oh well, why not!

I'm pretty sure the stereotype of top being dominant and bottom being submissive and either of these roles being indicators of ones masculinity or strength, are just that, stereotypes.

Most gay men I've met are only ever superficially either one of those stereotypes.

I can be a submissive top for the right kind of guy and a very dominant bottom too.

Size (in both manhood and stature) only really have an aesthetic impact and don't tend to dictate ones sexual role.

Never really understood, what that meant, it's a bit like in active and passive, and I thought it was related to BDSM and that kind of scene, or plain sexual matters.

As I would not know, who is what, if you're cuddling or just caress someone. Would it be Top to caress, or is it Top to allow someone to caress?

And then I have to think at that drawing: Image

I'm very masculine but when it comes to sex I am only bottom. The feeling of a cock deep in my ass can't be beat. I've been with guys who are way less masculine but top. So, it just depends.

I've always been a bottom, but the more I realized it's fine to have less masculine tops, the happier relationships I've been in without worrying about who's gonna take the lead, make a move, ask out on a date etc. So the answer is it's only up to you. Also a top/bottom can be the dominant one in one relationship and submissive one in another.

That almost cringey categorization is one of the gay fiction tropes that makes me roll my eyes hard every time I see one: "Hi, I'm a very muscular, your stereotypical top who never let anyone give me orders... until I meet X. Then I suddenly became submissive because his cockpersonality was the most beautiful thing on earth!"
