I’m on the bus heading home. I picked up a coworker’s shift despite technically being on ‘vacation.’ I don’t consider it an inconvenience though.

It’s nice to help others but we all need a vacation. Don’t forget to take time for you and yours nandi!

Are you kidding? Three days off are enough. I considered today a welcome diversion.

Feels really good to get things out.

Trying to distract myself from some loner issues by reading on here and composing some melancholic tunes.
Have an upcoming anniversary to celebrate - being alone successfully for 30 years. :|

I, me and myself are going to have a jolly weird party in that silly ole head. :D

Playing around with the speaker placement in the listening room.
Got curious when a fellow member mentioned:
If speakers are toed in correctly. The beginning of Madonna’s Vogue will sound like its right behind your head!

And this guy knows his stuff. He’s a sound engineer.

So I’ve been moving the speakers a few inches. It’s a real pain in the ass. Easier with another person but hey it can be done with one.

Got Faith Hill on now. Sounds like she is in front of me. You can hear the raspiness in her voice. :)
Or it sounds like I have really good headphones on if that makes sense.
Will probably do more experimenting when my vacation starts tomorrow!!

Flying home to New Zealand to see Ben for the first time in a month. :D

Been building fibre optic networks in Sydney with my brother.
It’s been a lot of fun!
Got to catch up with Cj, Iago, and YagYug too if anyone remembers them. They’re all doing super well. Especially CJ, he’s really come along way.

waiting on a call from my mortgage advisor! :noes:

I thought I was ready, had everything I needed but now I'm not entirely sure :P

I'm also really unsure about getting a mortgage and buying a flat at this very minute, not knowing what will happen with Brexit and the general uncertainty that is sure to follow, will I end up paying much more if interest rates skyrocket post brexit (if it even happens) will I end up trapped in aplace with negative equity? :runaway:

But I do need to sort something out, as my landlord is selling up and I don't see it taking long, this house is nice :(

All this uncertainty is seeping into other parts of my life too and thats super inconvenient and frustrating :argh:

Assimilating others music. My listening habits are out of control! haven’t watched much tv for days now.

But I’ve found a lot of great music globally. It amazes me! It’s all I ever enjoy doing. I really should find some other outlet for this. It’s getting worse. I feel there is something I could do that hasn’t been done.
Not in the way of making music. But how it’s discussed, evaluated. I don’t know. I know I don’t belong in a damn factory.

True! I don’t think it’s delusional.
Someone at work suggested I start a podcast.
