I've been playing Simpsons Hit & Run on Xbox a little the last couple of days. There's a lot of nostalgia there and the game is still pretty good. I've also being playing happy wheels new and WWE RAW 2.

It's also interesting about the aircraft experiments that they were doing.

My first job out of uni involved writing code in assembler. Like "sublz ac0, ac0" which translates to subtract register zero from itself, left shift the bits including the carry, really a circular shift so it moves the carry bit into the lowest order bit. So that generates a 1 in register zero in the fastest amount of time. Moving a literal 1 into the register takes more time. I got to play with simulators for the most part but from time to time I got to go out on Navy ships and play with the real thing. The things I played with are the kind you don't want looking for you. They were pretty good at finding shit and taking care of business. That last part is actually serious.

Well just finished another bout with the divorce shit - objections to Tentative Decision/Declaration. And as usual the divorce stuff has left me with the feeling of being totally emptied of any good emotions leaving at best pretty unhealthy emotions. That leaves me in a state that it's particularly easy for people to view me as someone that is not a good person. As hard as I try to not let that show through I know at times it is beyond my ability to control it. I fucking hate that part.

Damn, Marty, I wish it wasn't so hard. Just trust that every frustrating step is getting you closer to having this mess behind you.

My current partner wants to get married and I let her know that it won't be happening any time soon. Maybe if I give her a ring and write her into my will she'll be happy enough. I won't consider marriage until her kid is 18 (only months away, thank goodness). Then if we do marry and later break up, it will just be two adults involved. Why make life more complicated?

Hang in there, buddy!

I’m grinding through the work week and working on the game during the time between work and sleep.

I’m working on the monster encounter code as suggested by someone on the forum, but I still have over fifty monster encounter event templates left. It’s tedious, but when they’re done I can plunk them into dungeons and wilderness with little extra work.

I’m also listening to the husband finishing up his work moving the content of the previous storage drive into the new one. This new drive is about ten times the size of the old one.

Nothing quite like being watching the clock on a friday night... for when you can justify getting into bed

I've been there ;)
