Reading posts on here, seeing who I remember and generally procrastinating from doing the packing for my house move Tuesday.

I'm refurbishing some of the original windows in my 100 year old house. (That's old here in the USA.) Some of them have been painted shut for who knows how long. Who would do that in a house with no A/C? I finally got up the nerve to convince them open this summer. Now that it's getting chilly, it's time to rebuild some trim work and reassemble them. I'll get them to where they need to be today, then put the finishing touches on next spring when I can paint outside again. So far no breakage!

Oh he thinks a lot about how he can troll new places. This wasn't his first stop and won't be his last.

Some people with no lives spend there days just trying to make their lives interesting.
I almost feel bad for the guy. ALMOST.
I also feel he was using "friends" as a very loose term to. I doubt someone with so much hatred has very many friends.

Enjoying my first migraine-free week in a while. It's nice to be able to use technology again without succumbing to searing pain or nausea :)

That's great! Sorry to hear you've been getting them that often...

I'm curious, are you doing anything for prevention or have they simply stopped coming?

I have medicine I take when I feel one coming on. I don't get them often enough for them to be considered chronic so I just rely on generic non-prescription medication.
I'm thinking maybe the wonky weather from summer's transition into fall may have played a part... and possibly the fact that I work with screaming children for a living

But I've been feeling good going nearly on two weeks now so I think I'm in the clear.

You decided to travel by coach? From the north of England? To the Isle of Wight?

Why in the world?

Unless you’re actually 80 years old, in which case I understand.

I'm the youngest on here by about 30-40 years I'd say haha. This is a rather brutally long I will admit, if I go again remind me to fly or get train there lol

Watching my home town Pittsburgh Steelers using their 3rd string quarterback face off the Chargers. They are likely to loose horribly.

Seasonal maintenance: oiling the outdoor furniture, killing the last of the moss on the roof, possibly the final lawn-mowing of the year, cleaning my workbench, and decorating the porch with pumpkins.

I also checked out our local library's new telescope, and I'm hoping the clouds will continue clearing into the evening. I'd rather have it on a darker night, but I will enjoy a close-up view of the full moon if skies clear.

That'd be awesome to have a community telescope. Our local library is in an old church. So all the windows are stained glass. It's a pretty building. But I'm sorta jealous of you. :pfft:

Our grass stopped growing few weeks ago. I'm sure we are still going get a few more warm patches but lately. It's been cold most mornings. I even turned the heat on the other night. :shake:

Tonight's full moon. It's not easy to take pics with a phone through a telescope, but this turned out ok. The image was much more clear to the naked eye. If it's clear Monday I'll have a fire and invite some friends over.

Doing the googles for different flu vaccination brands: “Fluzone” or “Fluad” stand out here.

The Chabot Space and Science Center nearby has their telescopes open to the public on Friday and Saturday nights. I guess not many know that because its never very crowded.
