Awakening from my slumber—though, perhaps a bit prematurely!

At work, trying to figure out shit. Way too bored. I need a spa day and a wrestler turned massage therapist to crush the knots in my back ¨:P :P

Our boyfriend recently had me stand on his back with my full weight as a form of massage, haha :P
He loved it! And it felt kinda nice for me too :D

He tried to get Brenden to do it first, but Brenden was too scared of hurting him; I wasn't, though we're almost the same weight.

Trying and failing to fall asleep despite having been awake for the last 35-42 hours (I don’t recall exactly how long). Regardless of the truth of the matter, I feel as though I’ve been lying in my bed for hours!

When you're out of your rhythm, your brain/body gets used to being awake. It's an adaptation. It becomes like a habit, a default. You need to get back in the habit of sleeping, predictably, at the same time in every 24-hour cycle.

Or...or...or I could just stay up a bit more until I’m utterly exhausted and only then go to sleep! That’s possible too!

Rejoice! I did end up sleeping (for about seven hours, in fact).

Watching house centipedes scuttling along the wall of the bedroom. One of the centipedes are quite large, but not large enough to fall off the wall and make a sound when it hits the ground.

Are you serious?!? :wide-eyed:

What, pray tell, is the difference between them that so makes the one ugly and monstrous, but makes the other cute?

Millipedes are detritivores who just want to crawl around relatively slowly on their hundreds of cute legs like a little biological train, whereas centipedes are carnivores who are often venomous and can be very fast.
