:noes:

I fucking hate centipedes. Monsters!

They're horrifying little creatures!

But millipedes are super cute. :3

Are you serious?!? :wide-eyed:

What, pray tell, is the difference between them that so makes the one ugly and monstrous, but makes the other cute?

Millipedes are detritivores who just want to crawl around relatively slowly on their hundreds of cute legs like a little biological train, whereas centipedes are carnivores who are often venomous and can be very fast.

Brenden, I know what millipedes and centipedes are

I'm unsettled by the two on account of their shape and creepy manner of moving. The fact that centipedes are carnivorous and venomous doesn't much bother me—though, that's not to say I'd want one on me.

She asked me to do it. He meant to save me time, then realised I can do it much faster than he can. :P

I also felt overwhelmed by the tutorials I skimmed.

Reading (once again) J.M.E. McTaggart's earliest work—his essay, The Further Determination of the Absolute.

I'm crying right now, because of how beautiful were the words of Maya Angelou in this video. Love does indeed liberate, and than it there is nothing greater in this world of which I can possibly conceive, save for those very people whom I have the privilege of loving.

That's great! I got my second dose last weekend.

Though it takes a few weeks after the second dose for the vaccine to take full effect, and even then, you don't actually become immune. You can still get infected and can still transmit the virus to other people, and you can still get sick. It just becomes a lot less likely. But the emerging variants of the virus especially are less susceptible to the vaccines. In Scotland, where 75% of adults have already had at least the first dose and 50% have had both doses by now, case numbers, death numbers and test-positivity rates are once again rising. UK figures show 5% of people hospitalised with the Indian/Delta variant are actually people who have had both doses.

You should still distance and wear masks etc. to keep yourself and (especially) others safe.

Of course you are 100% right. Masks etc are still on the game and immunity is a far fetched dream. Haha, you must be fun at parties Rene lol lol!

Anyways, I'm feeling way much better now that I will finally be vaccinated. A small win but a huge victory in my psychology.

I spent my day today screaming at a piece of paper trying to get German pronouns through my head. personal and possessive. In different genders. And three cases.

I just gave up and dropped the class. French too. As soon as they'd let me.

Then I quit school as soon as they'd let me.

(Then I got a bachelor's degree anyway. :P)

I'm finding German more fun to learn than French, despite being very hard. It's not like I have a choice either. We have a lot of tourists from Germany here.

That’s what Charlie Sheen calls his sex parties.

When I wake up I will get ready and go get a Pfizer shot for COVID. The trip will take awhile because we will be going to another city for it and we don’t have our own car. :P
