Watching YouTube and trying not to fall asleep. It's too early for bedtime.

Speaking of gaming consoles, have you ever played with an Oculus headset? I don’t know anyone irl who owns one and I’m curious to try it to see what all the hype is about.

It's dead Jim. (Or is it?)
I wouldn't mind trying one myself, but I know I'd feel a complete tool wearing the headset.poolerboy0077 wrote:Brenden wrote:Surgery to save my old PS3.

Although, I only replaced the thermal paste on the main chips. I didn't follow the full iFixit YLOD repair guide, which involves taking it even further apart and using a heat gun to re-flow the solder. So I may still do that next time we're here.

René's last two Samsung phones could do VR with a headset designed in conjunction with Oculus.
I always thought it was a bit gimmicky, and I feel René never used it enough to justify the costs.
Samsung must have felt similarly, because they stopped producing the headsets for the latest phones.

Playing Uncharted 4: Remastered on my PS 5. This game is soooo much nicer in 60FPS!

I had a nice hazardous drive home through a blizzard and now I'm hunkering in for a """work""" from home day tomorrow.

I've got the Oculus Quest 2 (the one that's a totally self-contained unit that doesn't need wires trailing everywhere) and it's pretty neat. I haven't played it with it too much because I don't have a huge lofty space to do so in, so it doesn't get busted out as often as it should. But whenever I do play it I really dig it.

Winding down and waiting for my husband to come to bed. I’m in good spirits because work was decent, dinner was great and I got spriting and facial graphics done tonight.
For the first time in weeks I feel I’m actually making progression in creating the damned game.
