Go see Penn & Teller at the Rio!

I would have SO loved that, but we didn't have any time for much beyond the convention and social activities tied to it.

Did the convention at least have magic tricks?

Yes actually! In the 'chillout space' every evening around 5pm there was a 15-minute magic act.

Preliminary planning for a little trip to Iceland. I'd love to see some northern lights and ice caves :awesome:

Probably for 2 unfortunately, as a stop-over on the way back from the US. We'll see, though!

What annoys me is that airlines want more money from you if you want a few days in Iceland instead of a few hours. :oface:

Didn't see it. I did, however, get fairly engrossed with the Queue To End All Queues (the Megaqueue, if you will). Watched the livestream for about an hour, trying to predict what the next person in the line would do. "Bow or Blessing" seemed to be dictated by whatever the person first in the group would do, whilst military uniform was invariably a salute. Saw some truly mental attempts at a bow, and a few incorrectly done blessings. Did not witness the ultra-rare non-uniformed salute, though. Highlight was the Horse Guards totally botching a change over. And did you see when Beckam ate a doughnut?! Honestly riveting stuff.
