ALCOHOL. BRENDEN IS DRINKING ALCOHOL.
OT: Water, and lots of it. Desperately trying to wash the taste of salty Chinese food out of my mouth. I've had much salty Chinese food in the past, but this is the first time its dried my mouth out so much that I've actually developed a cough.

René hates it, personally and generally.
I enjoy it in moderation, but dislike its abuse and the culture of abuse surrounding it.

Vodka and coke.
Step 1, eyeball a base amount of vodka
Step 2, pour in coke until the vodka taste is barely disguised.

I guess, it's from a micro brewery.

Mr. Monkey, bottom shelf means commercial shitty vodka usually. If it is from a micro brewery, one would assume they put some tender loving care into it, so you probably weren't drinking bottom shelf, but I dunno. Did it cost under $10 for handle of it? Then you know its bottom shelf lol.
EDIT: At the same time, one usually doesn't brew vodka, it's distilled, so I'm confused.
EDIT 2: Brenden, why did you ask if it was bottom shelf? Bc he mixed it with coke?

At $30 per litre it's about $10-$15 cheaper than the franchise booze stores.
They make beer, cider, gin, whiskey, scotch and vodka onsite so they're known as a micro brewery.

Because he talks about a taste being disguised by coke, which implies a strong, undesirable taste.

Orange juice. Unsurprisingly, non-alcoholic orange juice.

Re: What are you drinking?
My version of a Painkiller.
3 oz. dark rum (generally made with Pusser's but Iike certain size queens I prefer a dark Jamaican)
3 oz. pineapple juice
1 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice (preferably from a Valencia)
1 oz. coconut creme
• A few dashes cinnamon and freshly grated nutmeg
Shake with crushed ice and pour unstrained into a glass. Top with more cinnamon and nutmeg.
The Painkiller is an amazing drink in that you can traditionally adapt it for the amount of alcohol you'd like. Painkiller No. 2 has 2 oz., No. 3 has 3 oz. and No. 4 has ... well you get the idea. I'm versatile, so I like being right in the middle.
