Mushroom pierogis in a roasted garlic butter.

Turned out way better then I expected. :P

A very disappointing caprese sandwich I got from some random place in the airport, which I got stuck at after missing my flight by thirty seconds. Get this - the other three members of my party, all colleagues who accompanied me on my first ever business trip - made the flight. I got hung up at security and fell behind, and now I won't get in til after two in the morning.

Missing flights is terrible.

How early did you get to the airport? How long was the security queue? I've heard they're just getting worse and worse in the US.

Security was fine. The problem was we got to security five minutes before take-off. Still, everyone else made it. I was almost too embarrassed to show my face at work this morning.

Made a kind of risotto sans riz with freekeh, quinoa, and spelt. I added a sun-dried tomato puree near the end, but I think that kind of ruined it.
