I find perfectly made challah to be the most delicious type of bread.

Derek wrote:I was making challah. I was determined to do it right - that is, with a starter and a two-day ferment - but the yeast turned out to be a dud and it came out dense. I'm not even sure what to do with myself anymore.

I have redeemed myself by baking challah that is both delicious and fluffy.

This was earlier today. I went in thinking I could eat $23 worth of sushi, at least. I left eating pretty much exactly that much.

That's how buffets get you, man.

ALDI's low-fat peach/strawberry yoghurts. If you add some sweetener, they're really tasty while having almost no fat, very few calories and negligible cost (15p each). ALDI

Scrambled eggs with a lot of peas and some onion (which I just realised is the secret ingredient that makes my grandmother's scrambled eggs so good).
