You are not a monster. You are human. I don't know the details of what is happening but like PopTart says, looking after yourself is important. I think it's always good to be open to help from others, and if there is anyone supportive in your life that you can talk to then that could be a good idea too. I know everything seems so stressful and out of your control right now but you deserve to be rested, well fed, and to feel supported and safe too. So please make sure you take care of yourself and keep searching for support if you feel able to. It's not easy but if you can keep yourself calm and try to take things day by day then I think that can help too.

I hope everything goes well. I don't know much about how the system works in America and I wish I could help more but every little thing you can do to look after yourself will help, from talking to a friend to drinking a glass of orange juice if that's something you enjoy. And if things are very overwhelming then maybe it would help to look for some support from a doctor too, I know a lot of people who visit for anything from mild stress to serious depression.

Sorry for the long post and I'm really sorry if it didn't help. But having seen your posts and not known quite how to help at first, I was encouraged by PopTart's messages and wanted to say something myself too.

Hang on in there.

I'm familiar with going to psych docs and counselors being dx with Schizophrenia and PTSD... I am in a partial hospitalization program from when I was in the hospital about 3 weeks ago. I discussed some of the stuff to the group counseling I take on my laptop... they lowered my antipychotic and increased my gabapentin for my anxiety today. I need a counselor of my own and I can't talk to one until after the 18th.

That's really good news. I'm so sorry it's so hard, but a week can go by pretty fast and having a counselor can be such a useful thing to have. I'm familiar with doctors and counselors too for different reasons, and even though counseling hasn't always gone the way I'd have liked I've still always felt so much better having somebody trained and professional to offload to.

I agree with everyone else that it is important for you to take care of yourself. Drink lots of water, eat some healthy food, try to get good sleep, laugh when you can. It's hard for me to imagine dealing with the accusations you have to right now. I hope the situation gets better. Keep yourself in the best mind-frame you can so you can be present for this challenge. We are not counselors, but we can at least listen to your frustrations and offer some support.

Thank Jzone... I appreciate the support from you guys. I did get something to eat and now I'm listening to music and trying to get my mind off of things. I took my meds about a hour ago. Hopefully it'll kick in.

I'm thinking I should not have signed a lease with the cute young guy for the rental house on my property. He reminds me of myself 25 30 years ago, only cuter (if you can believe that). What could possibly go wrong?

Well then my hands are tied I guess :P

Also why do I get the weird sense that Kingdom Hearts is going to be one of those kind of "games for kids" that even as an adult I find frustratingly difficult? Like when I tried to play the Crash Bandicoot or Spyro trilogy remasters.

I think she wants to take Ann Coulter’s job.

Yeah, like how Ben Shapiro or Steven Seagal write hilarious novels with titles like "Trigger Warning" or "Operation Snowflake", except it's TERFs and their novels are called "The Man Who Would be Queen" or "When Attack Helicopters Attack".

Had a jam session by Zoom with some other musicians. Now I can't settle down to sleep. A good thing maybe. I have been starved for a good music session.

Cool! What do you play?

Seen some bands that are doing Zoom videos. Blossoms are releasing a lot of covers with everyone playing over video. Pretty cool.

Also, I heard there's some punk band in Glasgow (I forget the name) that are doing gigs over video, and they're sending viewers a box with a wristband, and random bits of sticky carpet so they can have a bit of the real gig experience. Just add Red Stripe lager and you're all set.

I thought you were better than blindly following the outrage machine.

Apparently it's 900 pages long so one would assume she's been writing it for years, well before she got started on this trans kick.
