Is there like an imagined worst case scenario of what could possibly go wrong over the phone? Like, what things could a person on the other end say that could make you even more uncomfortable?

I always assumed there was a level of detachment to the drama. I suppose it's just kinda fun to get all worked up about something niche you enjoy. Maybe there's a tongue-in-cheek element to a lot of the hyperbole. Dunno, though, not really involved in anything like that. I stan for no one.

Hahaha, I can't really imagine. It's more just a general awkwardness, not knowing what to say, feeling pressured, not having time to think about what I want to say before I say it, etc. In person is similar but not as bad, especially when there are at least 3 people in the conversation.

Things are strange at the moment as I'm sure they have been for everyone! I'm a primary school teacher so it's pretty surreal at work. I moved back from Japan in 2019 after 4 years out there but I'm off to Thailand in August for at least 2 years. Teaching at international schools is a lot better than working at schools in the U.K...!

Wow! Is primary-school teaching also what you did in Japan? What was that like?

I was a little exasperated about having to shovel my steps from the latest snow. I can’t remember having more snowstorms or more sub-freezing temperatures in February.

Then I saw the pictures from Texas. Um, never mind.

The longer I'm in lockdown the more elaborately expensive the things I keep looking at buying but don't remotely need to own become.

This is a dangerous trend and frankly I'm amazed I haven't buckled yet.

What did they tell you are the most effective ways to manage it?

When I first got diagnosed with a mental illness I had found an interest in abnormal psychology. ADHD is pretty interesting. Back in the 90s it seemed like a lot of kids were Dx as such. My ex was in around 98. He didn't react well with meds and his father made him stop taking it and said he doesn't have ADHD... then a about 20 years later he was Dx with it again.

Are they actual metal replicas, or shitty plastic ones? Are you gonna go all-in and crown yourself heavyweight champion? Or play the more modest move and be Intercontinental Champion?

They do plastic 'commemorative' ones, proper metal 'replica' ones and for a couple they do stupid-expensive 'deluxe elite' versions or whatever that are basically the exact same as the real belts and cost almost $2k

And if I were to break and get one I'm torn between the WWE Championship or the NXT United Kingdom Championship.
