Some suicide methods take longer than 30 seconds. So would they be murder?

So if you’re 30+ second self comes to you to blow you and you accept, is that incest? What about if you kill your old self to replace him to change a trajectory for the betterment of humanity? Is that still murder or self defense? What if your ordinary self was going to re-elect Donald Trump? :psyduck:

So my roommates daughter who just turned 6 this year and was 5 years old when her (great) grandfather passed away. She came to me crying saying she missed Papa. I gave her a hug and told her that it’s ok. It gets me thinking how do young children comprehend death. My roommates aren’t religious and don’t really believe in Jesus and for the most part atheist. How do you teach a child about death? What’s appropriate for their ages?

i was 7 when my grandpa died, at that moment I wasn't thinking anything because all of my relatives there, so as a kid i just happy playing with other kids. but naturally I just feels like it just cycle of live. I raised in very religious family. Then 2 years ago my dad pass away, and it hits differently.
I have no suggestion for people with no believe. maybe just explaining cycle of live of living thing if they already learning natural science in school. don't make it too scary. i watch youtube, a korean kid already afraid to die, and don't want to grow up, he want to keep remain child.

I’m looking at a chunk of curb on the sidewalk that was removed. It takes something quite powerful to rip a curb chunk out like this. I wonder what it was?

It’s interesting hearing how the wind is howling like Irish banshees up on the upper floors of the hotel right now.

I get the feeling that if the coronavirus didn’t make you sick and die but just made you gay, conservatives would be the first in line to get all vaccine shots.

The windstorm was bad enough that it blew the pole holding the traffic lights backwards and now it’s on a weird angle.

Wondering if Kentucky towns hit by the tornado should rebuild using only brick instead of wood, or if that would just make things worse if another tornado hits.

Does the concept of dryness have meaning at the quantum level? And if it does, surely being dry at a quantum level is not a state of affairs one wants in one’s armpits and nethers?

Non-reinforced masonry is probably just as bad for tornado survivability, and may actually pose a greater danger to the lives of people sheltering in such structures (a brick wall falling over is probably more likely to crush people to death than a timber frame being shredded and blown away).

It speaks volumes to now marketing types see people that they must sit there going "how do we make men follow basic hygiene routines? We need to make them all sound epic as fuck or they won't be interested in not smelling like stale arse all the time!"

I was about to label Brenden a fascist and ask you how you’d allowed such a thing to stand…but then…after all these years…I actually paid attention to the little man.

I’ve spent years, ALL THE YEARS, thinking he was shaking his head between hands either side, this expressing his confusion. But he’s not! He is shrugging!

Brenden was right all along, and I have lost faith absolutely in what I thought was a keen attention to detail. :shake:

I would like to make it clear that I did not purchase this product, there was just a long queue at the post office. I would wholeheartedly condemn any man for whom Sure for Men Quantum Dry, with MotionSenseTM, is their target fragrance.

I really need to stop putting myself in positions where I'm made aware of the existence of a version of the Kindle that is newer than the one I currently own because now all I'm thinking about is buying the new one when I objectively don't need it. But I want it. I want it bad.

I'm thinking about how tired I am because I never go to bed on time during the week. Also, not age-appropriate dirty thoughts that would make a porn star blush with embarrassment.
