One of the night shift guy's almost cut his arm off last night on the same saw i got hurt on. :( i told them that saw runs funny and be careful who they let run it.

We had a meeting this morning and my one coworker said safety issues are only a concern after someone gets injured. And thats totally true.

I think most production jobs have a tendency of putting production as its highest priority. Feel bad for the guy. He's gonna be dealing with this for a long time. Probably the first or second worst injury I've seen since being here.

Short staffed and with holidays coming. Lots of vacations. So more coverage needed. Anyone need or looking for a job in good old western PA?

What a day, what a day. oh well. Busy work makes a busy and fast day.

I've worked in manufacturing at 4 different plants and this has been true for all of them. They always say safety is the number 1 priority, but if you listen to the 2-way radio everything is rush rush rush. Plus the hours they have some people work can be a safety issue in itself.

Thinking when you’re listening to music someone else enjoys.
It’s like you have a very small glimpse into their life. Not completely or entirely. But a small idea of what their world is like.

It’s fascinating!! :)

Okay now it’s 2:00 AM. Sitting here listening to music thinking “how the hell did I end up listening to this?”

In honesty its stuff I thought I’d never like. It’s really weird. Wayyyy out of my comfort zone right now

I’m thinking about when I’ll need to replace the styluses on my turntables. :( I really don’t want to know. :shake:

May change the Rega’s Elys2 cart to a Nagaoka cart.

The Technics Denon cart is gonna put a dent in my wallet if I stick with it. May get something else for that table. Glad I went with the heavy mass tonearm on that table. I can get any cart I want! :D

Also thinking when I’ll send the Infinity woofer out to Watkins for repair. Same damn woofer with failed tinsel leads. Very annoying! :madred:

So Kevin Hart, who was asked to host the Oscars, is defiantly refusing to apologize for his reckless, homophobic comments.

It wasn’t too long ago—only last year, in fact—that in an interview with the Breakfast Club he criticized Bill Maher for making his “house nigger” joke saying it was tacky and irresponsible and how he doesn’t believe comedians have a license to just say whatever.

(Btw, is there a way we can bring back the BBCode for allowing specific times in YouTube videos?)
Blow: "Nowadays even Liam can release an album of his screechy vocals and it'll probably go #1..."
Ramzus: I can admit that I'm horny just about 24/7
homomorphism: I used to not think your name was deshay and that Erick was just being racist
Hunter: sometimes I think I was literally born to be a pornstar

Didn’t he apologise and step down from hosting already?

He stepped down precisely because he refused to apologize. The academy gave him an ultimatum.

Edit: Aparently he had a change of heart (Hart?) and decided to apologize after all after stepping down, saying it was a distraction. Then he quoted MLK; something about the measure of a man is on what he does in times of discomfort and controversy.
