Yeah no tears for the reptiles in charge. I don't think they have emotions or a conscience.

Reptiles! :P

I think alot of them start out like everyone else, with big ideas and the notion they are going to change the world and do better than those that came before them, but then they have to play the political game, make little compromises here, bend a little there, yield this principle, for that one etc...

Eventually, the process breaks them down and they are as much part of the systemic problems they once thought to erase :argh:

That's politics for you, i guess.

If this shutdown has inadvertently exposed anything it’s the poor savings habits of many Americans.
Blow: "Nowadays even Liam can release an album of his screechy vocals and it'll probably go #1..."
Ramzus: I can admit that I'm horny just about 24/7

The shutdown has once again shown how our representation are nothing but dirt bags that are only concerned with themselves. Amazing enough they even now have a major dirt bag leading them.

A lot of people also spend too much. Honestly, the number of people who think it’s normal to go out to eat/drink multiple times a week or get takeaway almost every night is shocking.

I see no steam coming off that water, or the hot tub. I feel cold just looking at it.

Just that pic. I did see steam from the water a bit. A couple people did swim in it but just the thought of getting out wet in the cold air killed it for me. XD

I was once at a hotel in the winter that had an indoor-outdoor pool, so you could get in and out of the water inside but swim out under the glass wall to be outside in the water. It was neat being all warm in the water while it was snowing with snowdrifts all around.

Well at Vail I went to the outdoor spa. Then again there were a few hot young guys there so I didn't mind so much.

I had my silicone bracelet not hiding that I'm gay. No issues, in fact, some good conversations. To say I feel better being "out" is an understatement of epic proportions. Better late than never.

Also my flight is delayed. I learnt a long time ago that if it looks iffy to ask the agent to also place me on the next flight. While chatting with her she said "smart move, only 5 seats left. I'll get home today at the least. I hope.

Honestly it's good to be home for a few days. Between pleasure and work I haven't been home much. No plans for this holiday weekend. I don't go near resorts such times if possible.

I would guess those are the kind of people that don't need to worry. Probably upper class. I know of a Lawyer and his wife. Come to the surf beach at times. They pretty well never eat at home. They bought one of these for their son's 18th birthday, just a present:

I see. In that case, it makes them kind of careless, probably. Consumption via Credit. Trendy to some.

I know students who use their living cost maintenance loan money to eat out a lot and buy takeaway at the beginning of months and then complain about being broke at the end of months. People just don't know how to budget these days. Probably because home economics classes have gone away in most western countries.

This world that I live in seems more and more like terrible fiction every day. The news keeps reporting more off the wall insanity, I can predict (but not prevent) bad and contrived events in store for me, and I feel like I’m not even there, and are just watching other people react to words can’t coming out of my mouth...if they even notice me at all.
People love to follow fools; they don't feel so alone then.
