I need to change professions. I can't sleep because I'm just doing spreadsheets in my head.

I love the idea of shorter guys topping. I’m pretty short and I like topping. :)

Everyone asked me yesterday what I’ll be doing for Easter Sunday. I’m an atheist so probably just go out for a brisk walk before devouring the souls of Christian children and their pets. It’s tradition.

I was wondering why it’s been so peaceful here lately.

Is anyone else annoyed by the forced use of “Latinx” by some writers?

I've never seen it used. Are you still reading Jezebel or something?

From NPR today. I’ve also seen university publications use it. It’s a plague.

I've seen it a few times. It seems silly.

The default ending is just o(s) in Spanish, right? So e.g. a group of teachers with males and females in it is los maestros. Does anyone feel oppressed by that? Should we start saying lxs maestrxs to be more inclusive?

I suppose they’ll argue that it’s not inclusive of those who don’t identify as neither gender. The funny thing is that this doesn’t exist in Spanish speaking countries. In fact the term, pronounced Latin-Ex, is not something that could be easily said in Spanish (Latin-Equis?). It mostly exists among the “woke” upper echelons of society to show others in their group how enlightened and sensitive they are to others. I get that sexism is an issue in Latin American countries but this is likely not going to be a way of resolving these issues. If anything people will double down on them out of indignation.

At least it gives me a way of referring to your ethnicity without copping to your supposed masculinity.
