Sorry to hear you having to go through that. And I would think it more than fair to take personally given the situation. Unfortunately its typically always friends/family, those closest to us, or rather ones we believed were people we could trust in, that end up able to hurt us the most. Just seems to be part of life that's best to just learn to deal with. Honestly I think you can get to the point of "their problems" + "my problems" is simply never going to work and it's simply best to eliminate the problem (aka remove said person from your life). Everyone has the right to choose to do so.

I thought about confronting him and well I doubt he'll say anything to my face and just say that "apologies" or deny it all. I might as well just ignore him or block him. I thought he'd understand and I realize schizophrenia is different than depression and even alcoholism. I know there's a lot of stigma in alcoholism. I guess people are usually fucked with for some reason will fuck with other a totally different things (because no one is completely understanding) but you think someone you are close to would at least try to understand the person. At least with my other ex he didn't understand it but he asked questions and actually looked it up. I normally don't care what people think but I guess it's different when it's someone who you thought you can trust.

It is. It hurts way more. An understatement if there ever was one. Best maybe to for now distance yourself from it and leave it go at that.

So I don't really care for femme guys but I don't mind some gayness so to speak. Does that make sense? It's actually a serious question.

It makes sense if you think homosexuality is feminine.

Holy shit now apparently there's a celebrity drag race coming out. Rupaul is making all the money while he can. This is insane. Guess it's gonna be drag race UK, then all stars , then season 12. With a halloween special and a celebrity special somewhere in between them.

Funny thing is im wayyyy more excited for Dragula.

Just for clarification when I say "don't really care for" I mean not attracted to sexually/romantically. But at the same time I equally don't care for the overly macho type guy. So while I'm damn picky about appearance, fitness and etc, I need to add this to my narrow qualifications for potentials. This brings me down to 1:10,000 kind of ratio of gay guys that appeal to me. I guess I need to just give up on finding a "partner" and accept my responsibilities as a "daddy". LoL

European men really love wearing short jorts. It makes it very difficult to spot homosexuals.

Im happy the show intervention chose to focus on Philadelphia. The heroin use around here is unbelievable.

You haven't seen anything like Kensington. It's like hell all under a train Bridge.

time to replace the soiled living room carpet:
was going to rip the carpet up and install tile. Instead clean up the exposed cement. Apply a cement die and a few coats of gloss epoxy.

Can this guy fuck off?!

Blocked him twice and sure enough he reappeared, this time with no face pic at first meaning I've now had to block him for a third time now :facepalm2:

There’s a small hardware store going into a building around where I get onto the bus that’s going all out with decorations including a bunch of iron statues of men sitting on construction girders. It’s beautiful, but I can only imagine how expensive that was. These are life size statues on there.

Hasn't Rupaul started his daytime talk show too? I saw an episode on YouTube.

I think he's been so long in showbusiness that he just knows that drag race has become tired at this point and he's now just doing the most before it fizzles out of popularity.

^yep. Has a scripted show coming out for Netflix i believe to.

I thought the same thing when they first started airing the season's back to back. That he was just making as much as he can while he can.

But..... The show's quality is fizzling but not the viewership and attention. It's bigger now then it ever was. And i don't see it losing it's audience anytime soon. Every year there is a new generation of gay youth that become interested in it.

Ive watched since season 1. And back then it was a very small show with only a small amount of gay male viewer's. Now its a much younger group of viewer's and as many straight female's watching the show.

There's also a Thailand version that's pretty popular dispite it being in a different language. As well as a German and Canadian version in the works. All with Rupauls name attached to them.

There's also two dragcons every year and the queen's have been touring the world for the past few year's. Which Rupaul gets a certain percentage of every queens pay for a year or so after there on the show.

I could easily see the show going longer then Rupaul wants or needs it to.

I just hosted my niece and her newish girlfriend for dinner at my house. I'm so glad that introducing same-sex partners has become so routine that it doesn't raise any eyebrows. At least not in the liberal corner of the US west coast where I live. Corn on the cob roasted over an open fire is hard to beat this time of year.

It only just occurred to me how much Facebook Groups are trying to rip off forums.

When you click someone's profile, they have their 'group profile', so you see their recent comments in the group and how long they've been a member.

There are 'rewards' like 'conservation starter' and things like admins having a star.

The difference is, of course, Facebook Groups tend to just attract awful people. I don't like them at all.

Do I go out of my way to not damage the spines of my Wheel of Time books when I reread them all, or do I say 'fuck it' and let the spines get creased up?

Cause I don't like creased spines normally but sometimes I do. I've got a copy of Lord of the Rings from the 70s that my dad gave me and I've never seen a book more fucked up in terms of wear and tear on it but I still love it because it looks so well-read and well-loved.
