When I first read this I thought you were concerned that whisker was going to take root and continue to grow. Then I pictured you shaving your finger beard. :blargh:

I need to get over my habit of starting to plan hookups with guys when horny then chickening out when my stupid anxiety takes over again.

I hope everything is okay. I got a phone alert about a potential problem at a nuclear power plant fairly close by this morning. :wide-eyed:
Why are you?

The alert was mean to be reassuring, though, right?

“There has been NO abnormal release of radioactivity from the station,” the alert read. “People near the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station DO NOT need to take any protective actions at this time.”

It’s nice to be told everything is fine by getting awakened to my phone screeching at me.

At least they didn't accidentally tell you there was a ballistic missile inbound to your location like in Hawaii. :D

I'm thinking of giving up skiing. Actually I'm fairly certain this season will be my last. I no longer get any enjoyment from it; haven't for a while. When I finally drew that line in the sand and stepped to the other side I didn't realize how good it would be for me. I also didn't realize all the ways in which it would change me even more. Definition of insanity is to keep repeating the same actions but expecting a different outcome. This is just another one of those things that's just not working for me anymore. I got a pass for the season and I won't regret it. I'll more than break even on the cost with just 6 or so days. Already have 3 in with 3 more days planned in Whistler in Feb-Mar. Do a couple day trips to Tahoe. Gay ski week at Mammoth in March. Wax, tune and lean the skis against the wall for the final time. Never say never but unless there's some hot gay guy, one I'm actually serious about at that, who talks me into going I just don't see having the desire again. There's also good reason for me to quit. What I love to ski and the way I love to ski it is pretty high impact to the body. I don't have it in me (actually I won't accept less is more like it) to do it any other way. Another 'moving on' in my life is all. I believe I'm at the peak of my ability. The rest would be a down hill slide I'm not interested in doing.

Moving on is better.

Have any of you ever been horny at work? It’s the worst. I feel like I’m about to blow.

You know, I use to yank it a lot at my previous job but here at the courthouse just seems wrong to me for some reason.

Is it morally justifiable to still really want to suck a guy off when you find out he's a massive homophobe?
