Brenden just now: "I'm moving the bunnies. Including the one whose head fell off. It's only being held on by the wrapping."

Actually 5 days ago but I'm just going through my photos now.

At a still very much deserted Heathrow Airport, even the sandwiches were social-distancing. :P

Hahaha, I'm looking at drip irrigation systems on Amazon (some electronic ones and some less hi-tech ones) for keeping our plants watered during future trips. Some of these obvious poor translations from Chinese are quite funny. Here are some excerpts...

"Don't worry, your plants will wither."

"Don’t be a plant killers. You can give them a better watering environment to meet their needs so a watering devices to control the velocity of flow is needed. Our plant spikes caters to your needs. Welcome to place order."

"Enjoy your vacation with your family, your plants leave to me."

"Don't worry your plants will be killed because of the uncontrollable water dripping rate."

Planes wedged together after collision at Aberdeen Airport

Oopsie? :P

I wonder how that happened, considering the plane that was hit was parked.

"Aberdonian gets x stuck in y" is a near weekly headline.

Is it wrong that I read these in the most offensive FOBby accent imaginable while slanting my eyes with my fingers?

I asked my husband if he knew what I got him for my anniversary, rather then our anniversary. I know I can be self centered sometimes but... :P
Why are you?

The intonation wasn't that of excitement! :pfft: You're also missing a "no" after "ooh".

A customer telling me my good attitude and helpfulness was because I'm from Texas damn near made me laugh, not just smile.

I think Brenden's mom is right. There does seem to be something special about you Texans. :3

What made me laugh today was I had the Edelweiss song from Sound of Music in my head but didn't know how it got there, and I just figured it out. I was looking at flights on Skyscanner and must have subconsciously scanned over a flight operated by Edelweiss Air. I didn't realise I'd read that name or that such an airline even existed, but it seems to have been enough to put the song in my head :P

Depends on if you're the same skin color, belief, sexuality, presidential affiliation, etc. Southerners have this weird thing where they have solidarity stemming back to losing the civil war or something but a lot are hateful trash deep down. I'm not trying to be negative, but as a Texan I've seen enough of Texas and Texans and can't wait to get the fuck out. I'd rather people have a slightly less friendly demeanor and not wish for the death/removal of 90% of the population that don't fit their idea of an acceptable human being.
