My question is why you were browsing a relationship advice subreddit.

Problems with your cat?

It was on my feed. I think it's one of the default subs. But I'd subscribe anyway just for a glimpse into the heterosexual heart of darkness.

It's fascinating to me how transferable the rhetorical beats are. "These radicals want to change the innate identities of children in service of their dogmatic agenda!" is a sentence that could be said by a mainstream liberal or an evangelical psycho. I suppose it goes to show how necessary it is to make a qualitative judgment of the ideologies at play.

Yesterday I read JK Rowling's terf manifesto. The part I found most interesting was when she used her feminist activism as evidence that she wasn't bigoted against trans people. Remember I used to joke about how being gay was the cheapest ticket into minority status? Feminism is the cheapest ticket people like Rowling have to the moral high ground. It's a platform she has risked exactly nothing by supporting, and a morality that questions exactly none of the messaging people of a certain class have internalized since birth. It's cool that she supports abused women, but it's not goddamn brave or insightful. If she had insight, she wouldn't have staked this as the hill to die on.

But Derek...”people who menstruate”!!! What do your people call it? Erasure? Personally I welcome such petty infighting.

I think it's great that they use language inclusive of people like me who identify as men but occasionally wake up to find the sheets soaked in blood.

Thats not because they are menstrating women, thats because they're men who've had their balls cut off.

Opened my twitter at work this morning out of boredom.

I forgot that Twitter on my phone is logged into my porn account where all I do is follow gay porn sites and hot hung guys.

I may have panicked when a video started playing and dropped my phone.

The current consensus on one particular conspiracy minded forum that I frequent for some reason is that They are using masks to improve facial recognition datasets for partially obscured faces.

That or it's so the lizard people can hide their gills.
