What made you laugh today?
Re: What made you laugh today?
Derek wrote:Some definitions of canceling specify that it's when people are ostracized by other members of their community, like when August Ames did homophobic tweets and was denounced by the entire porn industry. It's in those situations where canceling is likely to have meaningful consequences. The broader use of cancel culture seems less to me like a distinct phenomenon and more like regular politics being amplified by social media. Like, when JKR got canceled, it's because she staked a political position that earned her as much support as it did condemnation. There was no community she belonged to that had the leverage to actually punish her for her supposed betrayal. Which isn't to say there's nothing to criticize about how these things usually unfold - the invasion of privacy, the abusive rhetoric, the angry absolutism - but I have a hard time taking most complaints seriously. Anyway, I can't wait for ten years from now when we as a society have moved on from this conversation.
Outrage can neither be created nor destroyed, only change form.

I told my husband that I had a sexy dream where I could do self suck. Right after that I fell back to sleep (as in one second later.)

After seeing Rocky Horror on stage live for the first time this past Sunday, I found out there's a recorded version of the stage show that was put on for I think the anniversary of the 1975 film.
And Stephen Fry is in it as one of the Narrators and fuck me I have never laughed harder in my life.

Considering my fondness for sucking cock, surprisingly this is never one I've had. Mine are all about me sucking other people, never myself.

The CEO of IKEA was just elected Prime Minister of Sweden.
The first thing he'll do is to assemble his cabinet.

Re: What made you laugh today?
I volunteered to put up Christmas decorations in a historic house at our local arboretum. We had to "fluff" artificial Christmas trees. One of the older women said "they are going to name us fluffers". I laughed when she said that and no one else had a clue.

X "...also called the tenant a racist slur..."
You're a racist slur!
No, you the racist slur!
while I know what they are trying to do - avoid using an indelicate word - this just reads so funny to me
A slur walked into a bar wearing a Confederate Battle Flag cap. The bartender said, "We don't serve no racist slurs here."

Re: What made you laugh today?
I’m working in the laundry room at the hotel and a member of the group I have been complaining about comes in asking to fill up his ice bucket with water. I tell him no and chase him out, making sure to lock up after him so no one else comes into our employees only laundry room.
On the way out he asks “Don’t you want us keeping you company?”
No…no.

Holy shit... You know you are doing something wrong with a country like Iran threatens to sanction you. Sadly, I'm not surprised. I'm an American and we are absolute shit when it comes to the way Black Americans are treated.

Very interesting fleshlights. There are apparently some that look like xenomorph facial orifices, Shrek and Fiona, and Mater from ‘cars.’

Re: What made you laugh today?
I've just been playing Ghost of Tsushima Legends Survival mode. I suddenly hear an angry Scouser ranting and raving and shouting obscenities through his mic. I couldn't work out what he was angry about So I asked who he's angry with. Cue - shock! He says my username!
Then he starts asking me where in the country I live cos he's gonna "come and knife me" and "I'm gonna bash you in".
I couldn't stop laughing at how absurd it was.

I didn’t care that much to be honest. I like people looking at my ass.
