What made you laugh today?

Talk about anything and everything.

My mother laughing at me made me laugh. A pigeon landed on and outside building making a taping sound as it walked to which I remarked, why do they always wear dance shoes. She burst out laughing and I laughed at her in turn. Was all good fun.

Off-topic: Christopher, changed trains in your town the other day on the way to Holyhead! Crewe is also where my first boyfriend lived. I spent many months there in my teens. :D

Yes everyone passes through but nobody stops lol. We've got a new food and entertainment venue, which is a millennial dream (though I've yet to see anyone serve avocado on toast).

Just to set the record straight, by the way, some people maintain that the millennial cohort includes those born in 1998. (And yes, I’m half looking at you Brenden!)

Are you a Zoomer? You need to show your street cred by taping a poodle to your head, wearing a pretentious dangly cross earring (on one ear only!) and dancing unimaginatively in front of your phone.
Blow: "Nowadays even Liam can release an album of his screechy vocals and it'll probably go #1..."
Ramzus: I can admit that I'm horny just about 24/7
homomorphism: I used to not think your name was deshay and that Erick was just being racist
Hunter: sometimes I think I was literally born to be a pornstar

Thank God I'm a millennial, then, lest I should've had to go through all that nonsense! And why a poodle?

Every Gen Z teen male looks like they’re sporting a poodle for hair.

Bahahahaha! :applause:

I'm not sure quite what hairstyles you've been seeing, but I certainly don't know any Gen Z youths with poodles on their heads!

Thought this was an amusingly irrelevant little piece of marketing when I spotted it at the bottom of Samsung’s webpage.

Is there anyone out there, weighing up their next mobile phone or tablet purchase, genuinely stopping to think “I wonder what Her Majesty would choose given the choice?”

Kinda surprised tbh. I thought she’d have been an iPhone lady.

She could be an iPhone lady with a bunch of Samsung TVs in Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. Samsung TVs actually have Apple TV and AirPlay installed these days!

They’re really getting good now - I mean Smart TVs in general, but I do like Samsung’s UI and broader ecosystem - you can even download the Xbox app, pair an Xbox controller to the TV and stream the latest releases without needing the console.

Perhaps that’s what sold the Royal Household? Do you think she plays Halo to unwind after another tedious Meghan Markle piece runs in the news?

I would, even if it wouldn’t be a deciding factor.

A friend I haven't talked to since 9th grade wrote to me saying, "Holy shit, you're still alive? I'd thought you'd be dead at this point!" Apparently my suicidal inclinations were as well-established back then as they are now! It's certainly not every day that someone writes to you, expressing shock at finding you alive.

Should I therefore celebrate having made it alive for this long? Apparently everyone thought I'd not make it!

I'd love to stop and see my old boyfriend's parents again sometime. It's been a while. Unfortunately it's usually part of an international trip and not a convenient time to stop by.

 Maybe you should! I would certainly celebrate with you.

I got 35/40, I was quite impressed with myself. All five I got wrong were drugs I thought must be Pokemon though.

I don't know much about drugs and/or later-generation Pokemon so I feel like even getting 28 was an achievement.
