Noooo! It's just incredibly rare that anyone posts on my poetry thread. And, not just that, it's even rarer for Brenden to do anything related to me (reply, thumbs-up, or even post on my thread). But anyway, if a crush were involved, it would be for René and not Brenden (though, Brenden, you're perfectly cute too :3 ).

I figured you was like René too... that’s obvious but they’re both adorable... no doubt.

We might go to a steampunk convention with our boyfriend in a few months! :keke:

So now I'm trying to think of what I could wear.

I love the steampunk style. I see a lot of that at anime cons that I’ve gone to.

Planning and booking our next visit to our boyfriend, and starting to plan two trips ahead, and little trips together within our visits... feels good :keke:

We have that in my native language. With a Texan boyfriend, there was no way I wasn't gonna pick it up in English.

Besides, I knew it would vex you. That's reason enough! ;)

My housemate / best friend's mom confided in me about her relationship with her boyfriend. She told me about how she's considering dating other people, but isn't sure she wants to because her current boyfriend is the "safe bet." Yet she apparently feels he isn't right for her and isn't the one; there's not really any chemistry between them. But she's worried that, since she's 61, she'll not be able to find someone better if she starts all over again with dating. We talked for an hour and at the end she told me she loved me and loved having me as a housemate. That felt good, but I'm also just glad I was able to help her a bit.

Some comments on my last assignment from the marker:

"There's a lot of really excellent mathematics here. Well done!! Your work is clear and well presented, and I really enjoyed marking your script. Thanks a lot!!"

"Students always find Mathematical Induction difficult - the problem usually being an inability to really explain what's happening. Your approach was clear and accurate."

"You're obviously comfortable with the methods and approach to this type of question. Your work was accurate and your answers splendid."

"Full marks for GMC [good mathematical communication]. It was a pleasure to mark your work."

I beat a chess player rated 2068, which means I beat someone who is only 32 points from being a CM (candidate master)!! Not just that, but upon analyzing the game with stockfish (a chess engine, i.e. the computer) I found out I had the advantage for the entirety of the game! Can't tell you how pleased I am!

Physical labor of what sort?

Typical work day involves a lot of laundry and custodial chores, and walking about 12 km per day. I work at a hotel.

Eek! Doesn't sound particularly pleasant in any way. Though I suppose at least you get a good amount of exercise!
