For my final Christmas at home my parents just randomly decided to spend twice as much as they usually do for gifts, I'm sitting here with my fancy new 200€ headphones copying files onto my new 2TB harddrive. I feel spoiled and I'm absolutely loving it :D

Good for you. We never do anything special for chistmas at all. That means absolutely no gifts or anything else. It is just a normal day in the year.

I considered that before, but as long as I'm a middle-class only-child that never had a high allowance I use birthdays and Christmas to leech  Well, I guess this was the last time.

I GOT 24 THROWING KNIVES FOR CHRISTMAS.
Evil is boring. The universe is friendly. Life is on your side. Joy is your birthright. Cynicism is idiotic. Fear is a bad habit. Despair is lazy. In fact, all of creation wants you to succeed. Act as if the universe is a prodigious miracle created for your amusement and illumination. Assume that secret helpers are working behind the scenes to assist you in turning into the gorgeous masterpiece you were born to be. Life always gives you exactly what you need, exactly when you need it.

A shame you weren't given any laws of grammar.

Every time he said Clara, I shouted "OSWIN! SHE IS OSWIN".

She is. Clara Oswin Oswald? I'll just ignore the first bit.

OT: I had a nice Christmas and I feel less ill.

I was wondering where all my meat had gone in Kingdom of Loathing and thought that maybe I'd lost it, but then I realized that it was all in the form of appreciating items in my Display Case and Closet and I'm now a billionaire :awesome:

I usually expect something tacky that isn't executed to it's full potential from their Christmas specials, but this one was amazing. This could go down in Doctor Who history. One of their best(the best?) specials to practically lead into their 50th anniversary.
