I made a lot of guests happy at the hotel, particularly the group of Jewish folk staying here and celebrating Hanukkah. Their compliments are always appreciated. :keke:

I also got the jewellery stuff done for the shop stuff for the game. The pawnshop stuff is left though and I know it’s gonna require more item graphics, some items being quite sketchy.

Oh the mud was so deep in places and so much fun. Cleanup took quite a bit.

The guy who usually cuts my hair at the barber I go to now is a bodybuilder, but he’s like a gentile giant cutting my hair so methodically. I haven’t been this pleased with haircuts for years.

I fired it up. The was a 250 now a 270 lives again. Sounds better. No time to break it in today and rain in the forecast for tomorrow. Heavy rain tomorrow so maybe around mid week it will be good to take it out, break it in and see if it is truly much improved.

Picked up two sets of speakers today. :)
The Optimus Pro-LX5II and Linn Index II

The Optimus will need refoamed. Kit will be ordered soon. And I will share how that is done when I do that.

The Linn Index II I was pleasantly to find out and about. Odd to see a speaker such as this one in a store. I was a little hesitant but I did get the original box with them. Which is a big deal for a collector.

Currently they are being ran by a Naim NAP-150. Located at about 6” from the rear wall as they aren’t ported and are made for that I hear. Not bad.

Them Scots make a nice speaker!

Someone on deviantart actually downloaded Mario, Luigi and Gary and intends to play it. This is a fan game I created a few years ago which has some game mechanics that are in Manjulias RPG which I’m working on now.

Picked up some speakers the last few days.

Below a set of Boston Acoustic A70 Series 1 and Cerwin Vega D3. They will be repaired soon. Waiting for the foam kits. Impatiently I might add.

Got these today! KEF 303 Type SP1126

The best part about the KEF purchase was I met a fellow audio collector! The more and more I get into this hobby I make more and more friends. I now belong to a local audio group that gets together and listens to audio and all kind of stuff! :) a good day indeed. My passion has taken off into new territories friends!

Oh and the KEF? They sound awesome! Very punchy and lively speakers.
Haven’t heard a British speaker I don’t like yet. :)

Congrats spex. I wish I knew more about the audio side of music.

I. Guess I'm happy cause I took off work the last 2 days. I returned today just to find out that we are now off until the day after Christmas. So besides one day of work I got me a pretty nice vacation I'm in. :)

I have vacation time to cover me so I'm getting paid but wouldn't have taken the last 2 days off. But it is what it is.

Congrats on the time off!! :thumbsupwink: everyone needs time off and a vacation.

Well you gotta remember I’ve been doing this for 27 years.
My parents have stories about when I was a kid and how all I cared about was speakers. Still true! ;)
Audio isn’t hard to get into. Get some speakers, receiver/integrated, a nice source like a CD player, turntable, tape, streaming device whatever.
It’s a fun hobby man. If you ever decide to go down that rabbit hole let me know.

My father was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

I don't believe in Karma, but this was a long way coming.

I'm so happy I could spit ha ha!

I am not sure what you mean? The previous statement wasn't said in cynicism jest but actual mirth and merriment lol.

I'm not sorry at all.

Meaning

1) that your feelings are valid I grant you, but obviously not stemming from very good circumstances in any event.
2) unfortunate that your father has Parkinson's

both unfortunate places to be.

I'm moving into an office at work. The desk faces away from the door so I can just browse porn all day long and no one will know.

24 x 7 access to porn may not be such a good thing.

Where do you work again? I can’t picture you working for someone.

Ooh, this is going to be disillusioning for you.

I work in the accounts payable department at a construction company. I spend most of my time drafting reports. My next-door office neighbors will be Sally and Dorie, who both work in HR. Last month I brought in cupcakes to the office. This month I made an excuse not to attend the company Holiday party. The front desk lady calls me "hon" and asks me about the weather when I come in from lunch.
