Does that mean what I think it means in San Francisco?

Bahahaha I really did not intend on that pun. In motocross the battles in the corners are referred to as bar banging. For good reason. And often it involves one guy taking them to some part of his body, typically the chest hence the chest protector and bar pad, as he goes down. Speeds are slower in the corners so injuries are more minor typically but at the same time more occurrences happen there too. Just part of the game so to speak.

My FB is away for a while. I plan on behaving myself since I have an ongoing thing. Plus I decided a little abstinence might be a good thing for me too. I also made no promises so if something yummy presents itself. I'm free to to do a little of that bar banging too, I always got my ex that I occasionally get together with.

I've decided to get a new dirt bike. Going to get an Yamaha YZ250F. Started the process of getting a price.

My new dirt bike has wireless. LoL I can connect to it from my phone and change the mappings in the ECU. Right now I have "Connected" and "Hard Hitting" set at the two maps. Took me a while to get around the "Internet, no connection" on my android and I you 408 - timeout errors but a backup of the ECU would work. Odd.

Next is set all the base suspension settings (Sag, compression, rebound, pre-load, fork height in the triple clamps, etc) to the recommended base settings from the YouTube 250 motocross bikes shootout videos.

Not to mention all the little upgrades I need to do. Foot pegs, unbreakable levers, gripper seat cover, graphics, skid plate, ... The list is endless. You get to a point where the bike suits you and you call it done. Since I actually bought a YZ250F it came with the "YZ High Bend" bars that I like so that is at least one item already done.

Just remember to turn the "bar-banging" settings up to 11.

Well I did set ECU maps 1 and 2 to "Connected" and "Hard hitting". Somehow neither "Linear" nor "Smooth" seem to be my style.

I continue to be stunned by USPS' speed. I ordered another package (not even selecting the priority option) from San Diego and they only took a day and a half to get it to the UK. Total transit time to my door in Scotland was 2.5 working days. :runaway: :D

I applied for a job that sounded super interesting months ago. It’s London-based and the application period closed in mid-June. I didn’t hear anything and just assumed it was the London standard that I didn’t get it and got ignored. But today they got in contact and invited me for interview. It’s at super short notice and it’s fucked up my whole schedule next week, but I’m super excited.
