I had a good, relaxing ‘weekend’ of working on the game and hanging out with my husband. :)

I took a couple vacation days and I'm headed to Park City. I didn't want to start the new year working too hard. LoL

Work was nice and productive, and then I came home and worked on more sprites for the game. Also, just now I remembered to back my data up on the external drive because I was typing this. :keke:

Being able to open the windows. It's around 70° and its still January.

Also getting a cast reveal for season 12 of drag race. Lets go Gigi Goode.

A little birdie called to tell me that if I hold out for a couple weeks an enhanced severance package aimed at exactly people (older, etc.) like me is about to be announced. I was told it would be up to 9 months. Devil's in the details but in past history the company offered some pretty decent packages for people like me to move on including covering medical benefits for a period of time.

Another good ‘weekend’ for me with relaxing with my husband and work on the game. I finished most of Unix city including the extremely tedious task of programming in the many NPCS. You can bet I backed up the work I did after. :P

Getting transferred at work so I'm in a store way closer to home that has both later start times and earlier closing times at night so I won't have to regularly either be up as early or get home as late.

Well, rumor confirmed. Lower level managers were briefed that an early separation incentive package is going to be rolled out. This to keep them from being caught off guard when their older more experience and competent underlings call to say "I'm so out of here" and letting them know they have zero choice or involvement in the issue. It will be officially sent out to individuals (ME!ME!ME!) who qualify end of day Tuesday. I'll actually be on my way to a customer meeting so that may be my last one. Given my years of service I'll get the max 9 months pay and full medical coverage (they pay the cobra) for 12 months. I've been retired in place waiting for one of these. Finally.

Heading out to reading terminal market in Philly in a few minutes. Its been at least a year or 2 since I've been there.

Its a beautiful mix of different ethnic foods and vendors. Im specifically looking for some polish sausage or kielbasa. :awesome:

Well this got changed since it started to snow. Maybe ill try again tomorrow.
First real snow this winter so im okay with it. I like snow when its falling. :awesome: Afterwards not so much. :blargh:

Well I got my official offer of the "Volunteer Career Transition" program. With my years of service I qualify for the maximum buy out.

My iPod (behind the times, I know) has decided to stop working, this paired with my phone that has a broken headphone jack means I can't listen to music whilst I'm out of the house, making journeys on public transport irritating

Currently travelling home and on layover at LAX. Spoke to my boss this morning. He's interviewing someone today and hopefully that pans out. I think we are on the same page - I need to leave quickly as possible. So this may well be my last flight for work. Oh, part of the program is helping people "transition" to what's next, including help finding a non-profit type organization to work for. I'm gonna start looking into that.

Like I've done sometimes in the past to get past a hurtle - throw myself at it and hope for the best. Re moving on... Not going to be as easy as I imagined but I will get it done and done right at that. Right now that's the best I can come up with for a plan.

Probs gonna have to be something like that, only problem is I'm often out 14-15 hours a day and not always able to charge my phone during these times.

I could have sworn I posted this in the frown thread
