Love Never Dies, Andrew Lloyd Webber's batshit melodramatic fanfiction sequel to Phantom of the Opera, streamed online and it's just gotten me back into how much I absolutely love this goofy ludicrous hot mess of a show.

Had a great game night with my husband where we played scrabble and the exploding kittens card game. :D

I owed £0.02 on my NatWest credit card. Apparently that's too little for them to bother debiting my checking account, so they credited me £0.02 with the description SMALL BALANCE WRITE OFF. :)

I suppose the reason is probably something like that it costs them £0.10 to do a direct debit. :P

Got more on my food stamps and found out I get my stimulus check on the 29th of April. Get some stuff for myself or that’s what my roommates are telling me to do. Not sure what to spend it on though...

I live in Flat 24 of my building. Flat 23 doesn't have a permanent resident, it's like rented or Airbnb'd out for random people on a temporary basis. It's been empty for a week or so but obviously very recently someone new is occupying it.

I bumped into him on the way back from my trip to the shops to restock the flat and... oh.

Oh. My. God!

He is without exaggeration the single most attractive man I have ever met in person. Like, 'pinch me I must be dreaming this man cannot be real' levels of hot. I need him to be inside me both immediately and constantly.

That is a very vivid description of his hotness. :thumbsupwink:

Got gifted a bottle of sloe whiskey by a neighbor. Noice. Not had any in ages. I must make it last longer than I usually do.

Talking of which, reminds me of one of my mum's colleagues. Big whiskey drinker. He'd open the bottle and immediately chuck the cap into the fire. Wouldn't be needing it.

Neither had I! It's bright red. Quite sweet. I recommend, but I'm not sure if anyone actually produces it, so you'd need to have a go making it yourself.

Oh yeah, I've no idea why I spelled it with an e... It's one of the few occasions where U.K English gets to drop a letter rather than add loads of e's and ou's. :P

I remember getting shit for this very opinion but I’m glad that I have been vindicated by a member of Gen Z:

I got a phone call from one of my bosses about coming to work for a meeting on the coming Thursday. Hopefully this may mean me coming back to work probably to do some special projects until the whole travel ban is lifted for real.

My working on the RPG game pretty much monomaniacally is fun but I do miss my job. :P

Did you get the newest version of the MacBook air which they just released? If so, I've heard some really good commentary about it.

I'm sort of envious... I got my last new computer 30 years ago... Every replacement since then has been used or very used... I get by, but it would be fun having a shiny new toy...

I got a refurbished MBP and I’m very happy with it. I think it’s the pinnacle of MBP design — it’s all been down hill since.
