Got anl e-mail from someone, which made me feel a little less alone/lonely on a holiday when, like usual, I'm totally alone.

I can imagine it's nice!

I really need to do cleaning/de-cluttering... I have no energy/enthusiasm--probably partly due to depression. I had a bit of energy last weekend, and at least cleared out the part of the living room where I'd been dumping stuff. It was nice having clear floor...but it didn't last. And then, past that, there are plenty of other things that need cleaning/de-cluttering.

I’ve never used egg yolks when making a tiramisu before, now that I have I’ll never go back. Sooooo much more custardy and rich.

I didn't know making it without egg yolks was an option, but I should know by now never to put anything past you people.

I was just whipping cream, sugar, mascarpone and marsala together, like an animal.

I think I saw a routine in one thing of a gay guy regularly ordering delivery from some place in hopes of getting the hot delivery guy.

I don't have the budget for delivery, so I have to make do with going to the grocery store, and hoping to see some eye candy there.

Whatever you do, don’t share this information with the eggs-in-everything Chinese lady on YouTube.

We celebrated my birthday at 1am today. My husband bought me an unusually large cake and we opened up the presents. Seeing the cake with “Happy Birthday Sweetie” on it lifted my heart. :keke:

I want to try a sensory deprivation tank like that. Hell, I want to try one sober. Once this virus is over I'm going to go to one.

I really want to try one of those too. I'm always worried about falling asleep and drowning though.

The husband and I did some Christmas junk today. We decorated the tree and shopping for my sister and my mom. I still need to do my shopping for the husband though...

For most of my walk home from work I was behind a cute skateboarder who honestly had the most amazing arse I've seen on a man in like 12 years. I don't know how he was managing to survive wearing noticeably short shorts in this cold but god bless him for it.

... I feel like I've been getting a lot more shamelessly thirsty lately.

I’m enjoying working on the game using the new RPG engine.

Tonight I finished the skill system coding as well as the ‘Emblem Point’ reward system. It’s the same deal as the last version of the game except now there are more skills and abilities to master and there are some quality of life improvements. These improvements include the player being informed of mastering an ability and automatic un-equip of the emblem so they don’t waste battles using a mastered emblem.

My brother got a weird anomalous giftbox of snacks and booze from his work for Christmas. And there were some things in there that he doesn't like.

So I basically just got handed, free of charge, a massive bag of toffee popcorn, a box of 12 mince pies, and a 200g bag of salted peanuts for literally no reason.
