Talk about anything and everything.

In some cases rent control might even contribute to more homelessness.

Question for you normies, though. How can you make housing affordable but still combate the ills of urban sprawl? They seem to be incompatible.

I don't think it's a realistic aim to make housing affordable in the face of extreme urbanization. Market forces will put enough upwards pressure on wages to ensure that people can just barely afford to work there. Beyond that, you're left with a set of bad options.

But rather than implementing price controls and locking things in place, you could try to reinforce that upwards pressure. Raise the minimum wage, scale property taxes, build transportation infrastructure. All the standard junk.

I swear, whoever Next has manufacture their clothing just cuts the patterns by eye. Probably whilst drunk. I don’t know why I keep going in there.

I decided to grab a couple of cheapish white shirts for work, you know, the sort you’re not too bothered if they get ruined. I bought two. Same style, same shelf, labelled as the same size. One fits, the other one has a collar easily a full inch and a half bigger. How? M&S have never done this to me. I’ve had the same sort of issue with their jeans in the past too. Sort yourselves out, Next.

That's a shame. I've always really liked Next's styles.

As someone who used to work for Next for 4 hellish years, everyone is best served avoiding them and letting their hideous company crumble into the fucking dust to be swept away by the uncaring tide of history.

Nothing really pisses me off.

I just feel there are some category of men who identify themselves by their skin colour and feel the need to speak on behalf of everyone else. They started WW1, WW2, Cold war, more wars and guess what...they were even the first group of people to use nuclear weapons and have the nerve to lecture other countries have nuclear disarmament.

Being stopped by an enforcement officer outside Doncaster Rail Station insinuating that I had been smoking where I shouldn't have, suggested I had the smell of smoke on me which is probably because I briefly stopped in a area where people tend to smoke especially on days like today when it's pissing down. Funny thing is, never smoked in my life... being the awkward autistic sod that I am did not help me convince her of my innocence
