What pissed you off and made you lose your faith in humanity today?

Talk about anything and everything.

I can't believe my mom sometimes.

She says we should fly over and visit her soon (a grandmother in her 60s with a long history of smoking) and shouldn't worry about her when it comes to the virus and she's not that worried either. But we need to time our visit for when she's in the country because over the next 5 months she's got some vacations planned: 5 (!) trips to Prague, 2 weeks in Canada, 2 weeks in southern France, and a long weekend in Valencia. (Spain being one of the worst-affected countries.)

What the heck is wrong with these old people?

How many more need to die, taking all these risks we wouldn't dream of taking despite being young never-smokers?

Boomer psychosis. It's what you get when a generation believes they reached the "end of history" and that there are no problems because they are insulated from them. It's probably also why they're rubbed the wrong way so badly by youngsters who are self-righteous enough to be activists for any cause that isn't helping starving children in the far-off, benighted lands of Africa and the Orient.

Actually I'm relieved to hear it's also a thing in other countries.

The newer generations are paying it forward, starting with Gen Z:

They are absolutely right. We need a generational struggle session that never ends, and anyone over the age of 18 who seriously cares about Harry Potter needs to be slapped.

That's much better than millennial jokes about how sassy their therapist is or how they're too depressed to leave their apartments to pick up their anti-anxiety medication.

I hate-watch enough Bill Maher to be aware that wasting much time on mostly made-up generational differences is really the preserve of the dim.

All you need to know is that boomers are horrible people who must be stopped.

Wife me up please Derek.

If social distancing continues much longer, it's either that or going back to live with my parents.

I know you hate it when I offer, but you can always come live with me. New Mexico was the only state that met its reopening goals. We can go to restaurants now.

I wonder. Do any Chinese people actually get offended by this or is this mostly whites policing one another?

Hmm. Maybe I shouldn’t use the word “policing” like this. It could be racially insensitive to pigs.

What an irresponsible idiot. Way to encourage already individualistic Americans to double down on their narcissism and undo the societal sacrifice of the past two and half months.

I would be conflicted if I were raped by Bieber. On the one hand I wouldn’t want to hurt him by blurting our something I would’ve wanted anyway. On the other hand I would have a hard time keeping it to myself and would want to boast about it.
