What put a frown on your face today?

Talk about anything and everything.

People looking over my shoulder what I am doing on my own phone. I really hate this kind of people!

What a national disaster I'm reading a gay forum and looking at Hot Lips pics, I won't be able to sleep tonight bc someone is watching something I don't like! (sarcasm)

Haha, that's the opposite of my and Brenden's boyfriend. He's so... what's the opposite of nosy? that he won't even read something potentially private on your phone's screen if you're trying to show him, preferring to have it read to him just in case he catches a glimpse of anything he wasn't meant to see. :P :3

Sounds like a man who's accidentally swiped to a picture he wasn't mean to see one too many times... :keke:

Despite my hesitance and fear of knowing the truth, I decided to buy a bathroom scale to see what I currently weigh.

I should not have bought a bathroom scale. Because now all I want to do is cry and comfort-eat ice cream.

Does he know he can't catch a glimpse of that unless you or him swipe on purpose? :P

But it is now apparent that I am too heavy to take a second step without cracking the foundations of the building...

Note I referred to reading; I'm talking about sharing a bit of a conversation I had with another person. :P
There could have been more of it on the screen that I did not mean to share.

I'm sure it's not all that bad... and you've got to start somewhere. Moreover, the more you weigh, the higher your basal metabolic rate and the more easily those initial pounds/kilograms will come off. :)

Great! Now you can calculate your BMI and BMR, then decide on a target BMI (mid healthy range or threshold healthy for an easier goal), then calculate the BMR for that weight and make that your daily calorie budget and use an app like MyFitnessPal to keep track. The weight will start to melt off. Trust me. I lost 30% of my weight doing just this; not eating a particular diet or doing a particular amount or type of exercise. Just counting calories.

... that BMI calculator has me at just over the line into being obese.

So you must be pretty tall! Like, 1.84 m / 6 ft or so, right?

6 foot pretty much on the dot if memory serves. Haven't had my heigh measured in quite a while but it's not a thing that changes much at my age surely.

EDIT: Hold the phone. I just went and measured my height... I'm only 5 foot 11! I've been adding an extra inch to myself for years.

Are you guys experiencing a heatwave too? The damn AC in my apartment has broken three times this month. They're super quick about fixing it after I make the request, but for some reason I always wait a week before telling them.

it's been mostly mild here, but we have sharp spikes in temperature, where for two or three days, it becomes unbearably hot. It's set to be 33o Celsius, 91o Fahrenheit today :runaway:

I've bought tubs of ice cream in preparation.

We don't tend to have AC in the UK since we are more accustomed to cold damp weather. What heat we get could generally be called, intermittent.

I’ve lost over 20 lbs and still weigh more than you.

Edit: whoops, regional slang sometimes doesn’t translate well.
