Got home to find that the fridge was off for a month. The freezer was not pretty. :pukey:

An asshole at work made life miserable for no good reason, just because he's a miserable prick.

Sorry! Venting :)

Oh thats always bad! Something about the sealed environment makes them smell atrocious and thats when there isn't food in it. :shake:

Is it a fridge/freezer combo? Or a full sized freezer?

Must have been a power outage perhaps?

Hope you managed to yet it sorted.

It's an integrated fridge-freezer. The fridge didn't really have anything too perishable in it, just condiments, but the freezer was full of food, some of which is now hard to come by.

I suspect that a neighbour's washing machine vibrations caused the microwave to shift just enough that it pushed its own cord against the wall switch for the fridge, which I found in a kind of half-position. Or we ourselves accidentally pushed the microwave before leaving. But I swear the fridge was on when we left — one of the last things we do is put our remaining butter in the freezer and our Brita filter into the fridge to keep it fresh, and it was definitely working when we did those things just before leaving.

What an odd confluence of events.

Hopefully, you'll be able to replace the food, even the hard to come by stuff. Seasonal things I guess?

But you freeze butter?! :runaway:

Stuff that isn’t available at our smallish Tesco any more. Or stuff that seems to be disappearing from the market entirely, like Quorn Swedish Style Meatballs. :shake:

Yes, that way we never run out of organic butter! We always have some ready to be taken out of the freezer and kept at room temperature.

I wonder how many more times I'm going to get blocked on Grindr immediately after telling a guy I'm not interested in anal before it stops becoming quite so annoying...

I had a witty post all set up and ready to go, but my grammar was too terrible to inflict upon the Internet.

So in order for me to be able to pay out previous bets in my shop I need my till to be linked up to the server that stores all the data of previous bets.

This morning I got in and that server was knackered and not working at all.

Apparently according to a few different customers this was totally my fault and I should have fixed it... I hate customers.

In the middle of a depressive episode where my basic sex drive fell through the damn floor into nothingness I made the stupid call to deactivate my porn-focused Twitter account.

Now my sex drive is back with a ludicrously harsh vengeance and I need to rebuild the fucking thing again and that's such a hassle even if I wasn't being constantly... erm... distracted during the process.

Did you deactivate it or delete it? Can't a deactivated account be reactivated?

I must have deleted rather than deactivate cause the damn thing is 100% gone.

Every time I think of living healthier, sleeping better, exercising more, I do it for about a week and then it all falls apart really fast
