Good thing you vomited that bleach back up! Not a fun way to die! How did that end up happening?

I used a cup that I thought was clean... ate some cereal and it tasted like bleach so I dumped the rest of it down the drain after a couple of bites. I then got some bread and took a bite out of it and look on the side... it was molded

I have a spot that suddenly decided to make an appearance overnight. And to make it worse it's slap-bang in the middle of my forehead and my hair isn't long enough to cover it right now.

In Eastern Europe they have a wonderful ointment for pimples. It kills bacteria, draws out oils, and soothes the skin.

So head to your nearest Polish shop and see if they have any!

A friend of mine is here from arkansas. Her two dogs had puppies. 11 of them.. we got a dog from them. things were fine and stuff but when we were down there my roommate was attracted by the dad dog. My friend was fine but like my roommate said he may need to be put down. so yesterday the dad and the mom dog killed two of its puppies. Now the dad dog attacked he owners father. So the mom and dad dog is gonna be put down. Well at least out of their home... sad

There really is no greater way to make you hate a game you love than trying to earn the platinum trophy in it. I used to love Assassin's Creed 3 but having to play through all its painfully superfluous tangential side-content bullshit to hit the 100% completion required for a trophy is draining my enjoyment of it away bit by bit.

I'm done with most of it so now outside of the few main story missions left all I've got is the crap I've been putting off for the whole time because I hate it. Namely replaying like 5 missions over and over again trying to hit the in-mission requirements necessary to gain 100%. Because for a while these games put optional objectives in their story missions and if you want to get 100% on the mission (and you need to, to get 100% of the whole game) you need to hit all of them in one go per mission. And some of them are just designed to be as aggravating as possible.

I got a papercut from opening a new set of contacts. How does that even happen? :runaway:

Have Brenden kiss it and I'm sure it'll feel much better.

You've got to have faith or else it won't work! Believe, René, believe, and Brenden's kiss will work a miracle! It's just like in the final scene of the Notebook, where Noah tells Allie that he thinks their love can do anything they want it to!

I've never seen the movie. I've been told it's sad, I think? Quite sad? I try to avoid getting sad, you see.

That is a bit of a pity, I think. For I've long suspected that a bit of sadness, if not even anguish, is necessary from time to time in order to gain insight into the total range of human experience, as well as human nature itself. And, indeed, I wholeheartedly agree with the idea expressed by J.R.R. Tolkien when he wrote: "For if joyful is the fountain that rises in the sun, its springs are in the wells of sorrow unfathomable at the foundations of the Earth.”

Someone suggested—nonsensically, of course—that perhaps I’m so tired right now that I’m experiencing difficulty when it comes to making much sense. I found this idea mistaken and ridiculous. After all, am I not an infallible and immortal being transcendent of time and space? Or am I confusing myself with God again? It happens sometimes hahah

Well I gouged my flesh from a soft rubber washer seal before so...sometimes human flesh is actually plasticine.

Schönberg's compositions have always sounded to me as though they were a chaotic cacophony reminiscent of the terrified caterwauling of a thousand dying animals belonging to the suidae family. And, indeed, I feel no differently upon listening to this.

I have to walk the dog, but I’m very much not pleased about that. There are so many cicadas outside and I’m worried the dog will eat them, or that he or I will step on them. I feel responsible for his, and my, not killing the helpless little creatures. But short of walking extremely slowly and with a flashlight, I’m not sure how to prevent the dog from stepping on them. I just know I’m going to end up extremely stressed and unhappy.

Don’t cicadas sing while perched in tree branches?
