Thinking back to something that happened to me when I was like 14 or 15, I guess that’s what I could describe as a panic attack. I’m so glad that’s never happened since. It’s truly horrifying.

I’m sorry this is a recurring thing. :(

Why must Thomas Aquinas, at times, be so perfectly abstruse??? For, accordingly, it makes evaluating his account of love altogether difficult. For example, from the following passage, please tell me (if you've any clue at all) what Aquinas means by the word 'complacency.'

...The appetible object gives the appetite, first, a certain adaptation to itself, which consists in complacency in that object; and from this follows movement toward the appetible object. For "the appetitive movement is circular," as stated in De Anima; because the appetible object moves the appetite, introducing itself, as it were, into its intention; while the appetite moves toward the realization of the appetible object, so that the movement ends where it began. Accordingly, the first change wrought in the appetite by the appetible object is called 'love,' and is nothing else than complacency in that object; and from this complacency results a movement towards that same object, and this movement is 'desire;' and lastly, there is rest which is 'joy.'

I've probably been trying to figure this out for an hour or so now. :runaway:  :runaway:

Do you get auras?

When I would get migraines in the past (before I discovered I could prevent them using psychedelics), I would get a rainbow-coloured lightning bolt across my vision, gradually growing to all-encompassing proportions, making reading impossible and eventually reducing the whole world to a mass of swirling colours. That was before the nausea, pain and deathwish would set in, of course.

LSD analogues like 1p-LSD saved me so much misery, it's incredible.

I really hope nobody checks the security cameras for my shop from last night because I ended up sat on the floor outside the back door for like 15 minutes when I was supposed to be doing my actual job. At least the shop was closed at the time I guess, so silver lining there.

If anyone asks, just say you were feeling a little nauseated. It's quick, easy, and no one asks for details.

Brenden thinks I'm a teenager. :(

Just because I get random boners and feel like sex all the time. I'm a guy. I'm 32. Is it that strange??

Everything is else normal, but being 32 is freaky. ;)

Just very narrowly avoided dropping a huge kitchen knife on my bare foot. Like... centimetres away. Holy shit that was terrifying.

Omg, I did the same thing. I used to get terrible migraines, almost monthly. Been hospitalized by them before.

Had a 9 gram shroom trip (My first trip ever, too) and that single trip reduced the migraines to once a year, if that.

Pretty crazy.

What made me sad today is I had a date to get some coffee with, and they canceled because I'm not vaccinated. I would totally understand if it wasn't for the fact that they were vaccinated and should be safe from that, and I have immunity from already getting covid a couple of months ago. We planned the date for a week and they only asked me the morning of. Felt more like they just needed a reason to change their mind :(

I noticed I never got a migraine in the 30 days or so after tripping. So I just made a habit of taking e.g. 1p-LSD once a month. :D
I did that for several years.

More recently I've been taking an antidepressant-type drug (tranylcypromine) for anxiety, which also prevents them.

Aww.

I do understand caution given the new variants that are going around, which have evolved to be more likely to bypass the vaccines while also generally being much more transmissible and more likely to cause serious illness. There are fully vaccinated people ending up in hospital at this point.

Ehh. I get it. Just disappointed. The likelyhood of getting sick just seems incredibly low to me, considering my immune system should be protecting me nearly as good as a vaccine, on top of his own vaccination. Not that I'm not getting a vaccine of course, I plan on getting the first shot a week from now.

Just figure there's always a risk, but when it's this low like come on man. Live a little. It's a coffee date, there could be unvaxxed people across the room from us.

I’m having issues with my voices… they want me to bleed. I’ve been doing good with ignoring them because I’m watching the 3 kids while my roommates are in the hospital with the newborn.

I don’t. It’s just a progressively worsening headache which develops into nausea, light sensitivity, cold sweats and at its worst slight tremors. It might not be a true migraine.

The worst thing is that I don’t quite know what brings them on. If I knew I could stop them. I don’t think I’m gonna have one today though as the telltale signs aren’t present.

I'm sorry, Erti

Sounds like you're having a really rough time. I wish I could do something to help, but I know I can't. Hopefully things will get a bit easier soon

Thanks Man…

I’ll be alright. Stress that’s making them louder… just hoping I don’t fall deep into psychosis… been having weird thoughts. Trying reality checks… grounding techniques. I’m trying.

House under reforms so it's the whole day of banging noises and dust.

The bed I was sleeping on was too big for my new room so i had to give it away and now i have to sleep on a mattress on the floor until i get a smaller bed.

I bought a new drawer online and I have no idea how to assembly it.

So basically: I have to sleep on the floor in room filled with crap and where to keep them, while I sneeze like a motherfucker.
